Truffles – ChorleyWe held our company Christmas party at Nino's this weekend, we numbered 50 guests and everyone enjoyed both the food and the party atmosphere. We selected from the party menu which included many mouthwatering choices, quite difficult to choose only one item from each course to be honest! All meals were beautifully presented, served piping hot and cooked exactly as requested, no mean feat when serving 50 people at once! Highly recommended!
Nino’s Rawtenstall – Rawtenstallwonderful old type pub serving very good home made food. choice of two roasts on Sunday with extensive menu on large blackboard. First class service and first class food. The beers are good also. Am taking my family for Christmas lunch next Monday and I cant wait to get there.
Border Rose – TodmordenThe first time i ate at the rishton Balti House. The quality of the food was outstanding, the service they gave me was first class. the restaurant is unique unlike others and i recommend you to come and try their food. KEEP IT UP!:)
Balti House – BlackburnThis place is my favourite restaurant. I simple loved it! Great for all the family due to the lively music and swift social service. I recommend to anyone wanting a fun night out with fab food. PS the nachos are glorious!

Anaz Indian Restaurant – DarwenNever had a bad meal there. Been going there for years and will keep on doing. it is a %100 5star restaurant no hesitation
Anaz Indian Restaurant – DarwenWhat an amazing find this place is, I will never think a run of the mill curry is the same again, wonderful food served in unbelievable polite and courteous style. The lime and soda was a revelation no Roses cordial here and the meals where works of art. WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bukhara – PrestonWe visited Totto's last night with my son who lives in Preston. This is the second time we have visited and I must say the food and service is excellent. It is small cosy restaurant which serves Mediterranean food. We booked a table quite late in the day however they were very apologetic for putting us on a small table but we were just glad that we got in. The staff really do make you feel comfortable. My partner loved the spicy sausage starter and the blue cheese sauce served with his steak. I have had pasta twice and I must say that on both occasions it has been excellent. We live in North Wales but we will be back and no doubt my son will get more visits than normal just so that we have an excuse to eat at Tottos.
Tottos – PrestonFantastic place, fantastic food and fantastic people
The Golden Lion – MorecambeAnother first class meal again at the plough. Staff are excellent. Good selection of beers and malt whiskeys. We will be back.
Plough Inn – ChorleyGood food, nice and cosy ambience, friendly staff and not expensive. Try the coffee there! Also has a pleasant garden for the nicotine addicts or for the shinny summer days.
The Cafe Bar – PrestonI have dined at this restaurant on a number of occasions now and the food has always been excellent, however you didn’t always get the best service and on a visit a few weeks ago the service was terrible, we vowed never to step foot in the Kings Arms again but seen as the food is always so great we decided to give it one last go and I am really glad I did!!!! We had a warm welcome on arrival and showed to our table by a very nice happy lady…..slightly confused why we were being treated so well she advised us that they had only just taken over so maybe this explains the bad service we had been given before???? If you have been to this restaurant before and didn’t like the service you must try it again, the food is excellent and very good value for money….we will be back!! Thank you for a lovely evening!!!!!!
The Kings Arms – CarnforthWe recently attended a Wedding Reception at Truffles (29/11/08). The food was superb, both at the main wedding reception and during the evening reception. The service was excellent and James, the proprietor/chef, came around personally to see if everyone was happy with their meal. He certainly had no complaints! On the menu was smoked salmon, fresh salmon, a chicken dish and many more - and the starters and desserts were fantastic. We would certainly visit again.
Truffles – Chorley29th November, had dreadful experience at this place. Seated an hour late and only then because we asked about what was happening. Starters came one was ok,but only ok the other was cold- not what you expect from mushrooms in sauce. Sent it back, came back still cold. Glass of wine ordered, wrong one came. Mains - ok but carrots cold. Won't repeat the experience. Daughter went on previous occasion, stroganoff running with blood but we thought that anyone can have a bad night but it seems this is the norm
The Halfway House – ChorleyWhat a fantastic restaurant - excellent service and the food is very fresh and tasty. I would recommend trying the garlic nan bread and for people who like it hot try the Naga. (at last a 'hot' curry that also has flavours) Would recommend trying this restaurant.
Sylhet – Blackburnwe went on Saturday night and i was less than impressed!! we had to wait for our table even though we had booked. One of the waiters was very surly and was quite rude to me. the food was average, and quite overpriced for what it was. My boyfriend found a great big long hair in his steak which was a little off putting and they did change it although no apologies were offered. We were seated in the conservatory area which was nice whilst the radiators were on but halfway through our meal they went off and it went very cold. All in all, i think its safe to say we won't be visiting there again!
