Booked a table for 8pm and mentioned we had a gluten free diner. Upon arrival we stood at the sign saying wait to be seated for a minute, no one came so we asked the guy behind the bar, he told us to take a seat near the bar and someone would seat us. Waited for about 5 mins and we were then taken upstairs. I asked the waitress if they had a gluten free menu, she said they didn't but would come and tell us the options. We sat for about 10 mins and a different waitress came to ask us for our food order, we hadn't been told any gf options yet, so just ordered drinks. The first waitress came back with the drinks and asked if we were ready to order, she still hadn't told us about gf options. Once that was done my wife ordered the baked salad, with chicken option and asked for no onions due to an allergy. I got some of the small plates, the first dish arrived, we were then asked by a different waitress if our food was OK, when we only had one plate on the table. The rest of the food came a minute or two after. The salad my wife ordered came with no chicken on it and covered in onions. We then asked the waiter about this, and he said he'd check if we'd been charged for chicken. No apology or offer to replace it. Other than this the food was decent, if a little expensive for what you got. The service felt a little all over the place, with different waiters and waitresses trying hard, but it was very disjointed. Somewhat spoilt the visit. They were all polite and pleasant, but it looked like they were all either pretty new, or just not communicating who was doing what for each table. It might be better to visit when it's a little quieter, as they struggled a bit when there was a few dining tables in. Would consider returning for maybe the lunch menu, but I don't think I'd go for another evening meal.
