Staff were extremely helpful, food was delicious and plentiful, this was our first visit and if we are ever in the area again we will certainly return. Very reasonable prices

Another fantastic meal at the witch. We always eat here when visiting our daughter. Great food, great selection of ales and ciders, and very dog friendly. This time my wife couldn't finish her fish and chips- too big for her. And I had a pizza, and can honestly say it was one of the best I've had. Just keep on doing what you're doing!

Very accommodating, good menu with some classics and some interesting twists, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. A good all-round family-run pub.

Good food, excellent staff for a busy time. We took our burgers takeaway the seafood platter was adequate for 2 to be fair. We planned on ordering all 4 sharers. We would have still been eating now!

Great service. Loved the food and atmosphere but the room was really a bit hot for me. Could have done with an air con. with it being a hot day.

From arriving to leaving I can not fault The Station. I had the Chicken Tikka Kebab and my partner had the Lamb Roast Dinner. Amazing that is all that can describe the food. Hats off to all the staff I.e the bar staff and chefs excellent. We will definitely be returning very soon

My husband and I had 2 evening meals at this hotel recently. The food was excellent, the service friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere extremely pleasant. We would certainly go again if we lived in the area but we were on holiday!

Main portions were great, though over-priced in my opinion. Calamari was £7 for 7 tiny pieces, which needs to be improved upon at that price. Carrot cake was worth the cost. Irish coffee was nice, though not a real irish coffee (don't think there was a whiskey shot in there? probably Baileys and there was no single cream 'head'). Atmosphere was nice, dog friendly and professional staff.

Visited on Jun 15th, had the ribs/chicken combo, and the salmon tagliatelle. Both were incredible. My girlfriend had the ribs, she said they were just about perfect. The salmon was amazing, served in a garlic and onion sauce, with garlic sourdough and duck eggs topping it off. Breathed on a couple of vampires on the way home and destroyed them. Reasonable prices, great service, brilliant food. A lovely pub.

For group of 6 adults and 3 children we appreciate your service and good food. Location is excellent and I can imagine the later evenings will be even more pleasant , who knows we may return......

The meal was very tasty and the service was very good.

A fine meal had with my daughter next to the canal in Lancaster. Club sandwiches were excellent along with the very reasonably priced bottle of wine, the remains of which we took outside after food. Very good level of service; excellent value for money. A real find. Just a shame that I live so far away!
