Two friends both celebrating our birthdays on a cold, wet November day, enjoyed a pleasant lunch. The staff were welcoming, it was very clean and cosy. The lunch choices were adequate and nicely cooked. I had vegetarian lasagna which I’m usually nervous about but was full of veg and tasty with a salad and garlic bread. Reasonably priced, as were the glasses of wine. We had to ask for water but a carafe was brought with glasses full of ice and slices of lemon. We each had chocolate mousse, large, delicious portions. We were comfortable to chat for nearly 3 hours, it was a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. We’ve both been eating there for years; never disappointed.
