Took a chance on what we knew would be a busy day and it was - huge group in for a Christmas meal. Mental busy, but they squeezed us in and served an excellent meal in a timely manner and keep us top upped with drinks. Food was excellent and service with a smile and calm manner despite the obvious rush. Excellent venue, brilliant staff and a top notch experience- highly recommended

The Station Hotel – LancasterParty of 4, lunchtime. December 18th 2023. Very nice welcome by the staff, warm atmosphere with a log fire burning. The food was well cooked and well presented, no rush to move you off your table when your meal had been consumed. Will return again to this lovely establishment only a few minutes off the M6 motorway.

The Station Hotel – LancasterWe came to the Ship, Caton today (14.12.23) for a group Christmas meal. The meal was outstanding and the service was out of this world. Kat welcomed us and showed us to our table and despite the dinning area being full to capacity we were made to feel special. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Ship to anyone and I hope it grows from strength to strength. Thank you for a truly excellent meal.

The Station Hotel – LancasterWe had a lovely relaxed meal at the Ship Inn, Caton on Friday. Lovely comfy dining room, calm atmosphere and delicious food. We can recommend their Fish and Chips and the Greek Roast Chicken Flatbread too. We will be back.

Ship Inn – LancasterAmazing Sunday roast yesterday. I had the veggie option and my husband the lamb - lots of variety on the plate as well as separate vegetables, all cooked perfectly. Greeted as we walked through the door, service excellent and food amazing. Thank you for looking after us and our beatiful border collie so well.
