We had an excellent celebratory meal following my granddaughter’s exam results. Three vegetarians in our party and there’s a much better range of choices than most restaurants. Staff are helpful and pleasant and I would thoroughly recommend .

The Station Hotel – LancasterI went to The Waterwitch for lunch in a group of 6 to celebrate a special occasion. We had reserved a table inside but had some drinks outside first by the canal. The Waterwitch team looked after us very well from start to finish. I enjoyed a couple of pints of blonde ale followed by a glass of very acceptable New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and also demolished a large plateful of well-cooked fish and chips that was sufficient to see me through the day. I award The Waterwitch full marks!

The Station Hotel – LancasterBeautiful meal with excellent service. Lively pub atmosphere with plenty of space around tables without feeling crammed in. The dog menu is a great idea and ours enjoyed some lovely treats and clean water. Good choice of cask beer and lovely coffee served.

The Waterwitch – LancasterThe Station Hotel was so friendly and welcoming. We were staying in the area and could not have chosen a nicer place to come for dinner. All the staff were wonderful, very helpful and so friendly. The food was good but the portiins are huge so make sure you arruve hungry!! We really enjoyed ourselves.
