We went to the Sultan last night with our children for the first meal out since before lockdown 3. We were nervous but needn't have been - the COVID mitigation in place was excellent and the staff very welcoming. The food was excellent - we had the vegetarian thali which was delicious and extremely good value for money. The restaurant kindly did a half portion of curry for our youngest daughter as she prefers something milder to the rest of us! I can't wait to go back again - highly recommended.

My first time at the water witch and I would deffo return! The staff were so friendly and the food was great with large portions. The alcoholic drinks are pricey, but a great experience overall.

We were warmly welcomed and given a choice of where to sit. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was great. My wife had a ploughmans which she thoroughly enjoyed and my son and I had steak,cooked to perfection. Great food,nice venue and very affordable. Will be visiting again for sure. Ian

Excellent food and staff very friendly and professional

Very easy to book. Didn't have a meal, just drinks. Excellent beer. I really like the idea of table service and hope it remains. Unfortunately we were over charged for around of drinks. This is the second time it's happened to me in recent visits. When queried the staff were most apologetic and sorted the refund out.

Good to find that Chef hasn't lost his touch during lockdown. Fabulous food as usual and excellent service from the staff. Will be back

I civets with two friends, and can say that the food was excellent and we received efficient and friendly service. The only complaint was the intrusive music that really was not background. I prefer no music, but if there is to be then it needs to be of a quiet and relaxing nature., not the noisy heavy beat and pretty tuneless that was playing.

Staff had worked really hard to make everything safe for eating indoors (it was a Very wet day), but still relaxed, they were very professional & friendly. Can’t fault the service, 100% I had a panini & coffee, both fine, a friend’s deli board was sumptuous & good value for money but another friend ordered the Seafood chowder; it was minute, no more than a ladle full, very thick, she said tasty, but it wasn’t served with anything! She was asked if she’d like bread & asked for gluten free, Lovely basket of bread, but turned out it was an additional cost to the chowder which at £6.49 was very poor value for money - we’d all anticipated a big bowl full! But overall a very enjoyable few hours & we so appreciated being able to go out for lunch again.

First meal out after the seemingly never ending pandemic pub closures. It was excellent. The staff were immediately welcoming with our drinks order arriving quickly. No pressure to order food straight away from the amazing menu. Lots of choice and included some tasty sounding vegetarian and vegan options. Just the right amount of wait for food to arrive. Very attentive and friendly staff with good value for money. Very enjoyable evening out.

First meal out since lockdowns eased and because we've never had a bad takeaway from here, we thought we'd support them locally by dropping in. The Garlic King Prawn Balti was delish and the crispy onions on the Lamb special was right up my partners street. The rice portion was insanely huge and we probably went overboard on the sides and a Naan but the food was very good and the service was friendly and polite. We were charged for 3 more popadoms than we had but that was offset by the fact I only got charged for a chicken balti rather than a King prawn, so I didn't grumble

Great to be back at The Station yesterday. Great new menu for both vegetarian and meat eating guests. Excellent main and pudding courses with friendly, efficient staff. See you soon!
