Even though the rain was persistent during our meal, the experience made up for it. Friendly staff, quick, attentive service and EXCELLENT food! Would highly recommend to anyone (Especially the black pudding scotch egg)

Great pub , with a lovely seating area by the canal . Staff are friendly and very efficient. Food is of good quality and they have a good selection of local ale.

We chose the Water Witch as a safe and friendly venue after our wedding, and were very pleased with the service. Your staff weren't aware of this but our son has just spent five months in hospital recovering from Covid, and this was his first actual meal since last year. He was extremely pleased with the food and the way you looked after him. Thank you!

Friendly service and lovely atmosphere. Scotch egg and chowder starter, no complaints at either end (I just wished there had been more of it). Chicken arrabiata and mushroom risotto for many. Both really tasty, only issue was the texture of the risotto being a bit too claggy. Would recommend and would definitely come back

Booked this as it looked lovely and said it had "extensive" vegetarian and vegan menus. It doesn't. No vegan starter and only sorbet for dessert, with an old fashioned veggie burger and vegan kofta for mains. Must try harder, there is an incredible range of vegan food out there now, there is no excuse, lazy, but at least it wasn't jacket potato and beans, so there's that. Cant fault the service or the setting but the price was incredibly steep and not worth it for what we got. Shall not be returning for food but would go back for a drink.

Always love eating here when we visit our son at uni. Very welcoming, lovely food, cater well for vegetarians, we never go anywhere else. When the weather is nice it is idyllic sitting by the canal.. Staff are great even with all of the restrictions.

Been twice for food and once for drinks since lockdown was lifted a little. Feels really safe, brilliant service and ace food. Enjoyed one of the new craft ales in a can as well. Great to be back.

Service was great we got our food surprisingly quick. Onion rings were very greasy but chips were lovely as were the ribs that I had. Beautiful setting and would definitely go back.

Service was initially very good. However, we finished are mains with 45 mins left in our slot, nobody came to check if we wanted desert (which we did) and when someone came over 30 mins later they told us we had to be off in 10 minutes. Other than this issue, cannot fault them.

Lovely meal and great location. However, wasn't informed that we only had a 2h slot so meal was rushed as service quite slow.

I have been a frequent customer since Water Witch reopened after lockdown. Their service is fantastic, quick and smooth. Very polite and helpful staff, great food and excellent ales. This is definitely my go-to place for the views but the customer service as well. The team at Water Witch have done a brilliant job adapting fast to the new guidelines and each time I have been, I have had a great time!
