The new revamped Lodge at Slyne , did not have The Cod dish on the Menu for that day that I ordered and I had to change it to the Braised Lamb Dish which was not very nice, so I should have ordered Fish and Chip with Mushy Peas, The Dessert that I Ordered was Apple and Rhubarb Crumble but I had to send it back because The crumble was made with nuts and oats and I don't like nuts, I tried a small amount and I felt sick, so I changed it for Sticky Toffee Pudding, The item I like the best was A drink Fever Tree Elderflower Tonic Water.

Recently re-opened under new management Since everything is cooked to order be prepared for a long lead time before it arrives. Plenty of time to sample the uncommon but excellent beer. Staff are welcoming and friendly with the owners on hand to help and guide. The cheapest 3 course meal is £22 but would I would suggest £28 is an average cost. The food is good and modern in presentation. The pub is still a work in progress but I am sure it will become a welcome addition to the few good eateries in the area .

Ate here on the bank holiday weekend just after the re-launch. Very impressive. The rump burger was the best burger I've had for a very long time. Everyone loved the food including the picky kids! The service was great. The staff were very polite and attentive. I can't really comment on the atmosphere as we were sat outside at lunchtime. Thoroughly recommend.

We were booked in for 8pm......the restaurant was fairly quiet and we received our starters around 8.30pm - this was just poppadums. We did not receive our mains until 9.45pm and nobody came over to explain why.....although plenty of takeaways seemed to be leaving the restaurant......disappointed

Fantastic food and service. This was our first visit to sultans and we wernt disappointed. The staff were great, especially Ash who ensured we were well looked after. The food was tasty and really good quality. We did come in for a birthday meal, Ash made sure the birthday girl was made to feel special. Overall a brilliant meal and a great atmosphere.

Terrible food. Don’t mind paying good money for good food however we paid over £155 for some very low quality food as well as the service. We did not expect Michelin star dining so please don’t think our expectations were over the roof however being served a mix grill with 1 kebab and 2 chops with A dry tandoori game chicken breast for over £12 is absolutely ridiculous. Followed by the curries which were bland and sweet? Food was clearly warmed up in a microwave or put into a dish on the stove and served. I’m assuming the manager was the one wearing a COVID 19 face shield Who just seemed rude and not interested with customers. I witnessed many people just try gain staff attention to order/ask for assistance but it took staff ages to get to them! Toilets were not a good sight either. For a building with its history and character this restaurant is a huge let down! We visited on Saturday evening (just so you know our review is not fake like the other 5* ones written by sultans employeees) lol
