Excellent lunch canalside Staff are really working hard to accommodate everyone and get to grips with the current rules. We ordered two sandwiches with sides and drinks and they arrived quickly and were presented really well. Excellent value for money and great service. Would recommend booking like we did as some people were disappointed to be turned away as walk-ins but the place was very busy in the sunshine!!

Amazing local pub, food is always gorgeous and the staff are wonderful!

Great friendly and attentive service. Doing a great job with the covid restrictions all very clean and organised with one way system. Husband was disappointed with the burger but really nice to be out again in a lovely setting.

I came on Saturday with my friend and our meal was amazing. The staff were also lovely, couldn’t have asked for a better meal/atmosphere for our first post lockdown treat!

Lovely food, chilled atmosphere, great prices for drinks compared to the other pubs in the village, and reasonable prices for the quality of food.

Great to be back and the staff were brilliant. Although I appreciate that its is difficult to offer the full menu, I was slightly disappointed with range of food. It used to be a much more exciting range of options not just standard pub choices of scampi, fish, burger etc. It is our local so we will obviously be back, just wish the food options were a tad more varied as it used to be.

Food was absolutely amazing. I had the steak and it was melt in the mouth but I didn't expect anything less as we've dined here 100 times before and it's be incredible everytime.

Our first trip back to the pub after lockdown and it was great to be at the Water Witch . The staff were amazing . The food was excellent and great value . Excellent selection of beers too .

Great food, great atmosphere, great service, great setting......

First meal out after lockdown - what a treat. Booked a table on the canal side and really enjoyed it. Was glad you could choose large or small main courses as the small was absolutely the right size for all 4 of us. We were well served by nice young people who made sure we had everything we needed.

Booked a table for my sons birthday lunch. Luckily it was sunny and dry. Staff were quick and attentive. Our meals were excellent , my son had the moules marnierre and he thought it was the best he had eaten. My husband ordered the smoked haddock fish cakes and said they were excellent . We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will certainly be back !

Found out a friend had a live slot on the Sunday so used the website to book a table. To say the food was lovely would be an understatement. It was absolutely fantastic. Even my very picky missus and girls found something to fully enjoy. To add to that when my other half had a seizure, all the staff and management were honestly concerned and wanted to make sure she was okay. So a massive thank you to all at the Lodge. We will definitely be back. 11/10.

Decided last minute that we fancied a Sunday lunch. Booked in easily via the website despite it only being in 30 minutes. I have to say that I had the most delicious roast beef with all the trimmings. Everything was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough. 10/10!
