Our place to goto when we visit Scarborough. The food is beautiful & plentiful.... yorkshire portions at its best. We both shared the bucket & spade sharer for starters which was so tasty. I then had the small chowder in a cob, hubby had the fishpie & half mine. Would definitely recommend too anyone visiting Scarborough, though book before you go as it's a popular place & fills up fast. Service as always very good. Cannot wait till our next visit.

I was told it was clearly stated in terms and conditions.......nobody reads terms and conditions! One of my friends wife had died the week before but still the staff were insistent as he had not attended they would keep his deposit. Eventually they relented and I got all the money back but the whole episode spoilt the evening.

Plenty of seafood in the lasagna and the garlic mushrooms are to die for husband had tomato and garlic bread and seabass beautifully cooked and presented and lots of it definitely be there again in a couple of weeks

Pastis and wine selection added to the frenchness. Service was attentive and the atmosphere as a bistro was spot on (the upstairs was closed). Highly recommendable.
