We have visited this pub many times for an evening meal. The staff are very personable and inviting. The food is excellent and there is a good range on the menu. We would certainly recommend. There is always a good combination of locals and holiday makers so makes for great stories.

Stunning every time! Every mouthful was delicious, we couldn't choose so between 4 of us we ordered lots! From the cauliflower and sweet potato to the steak & lobster every dish was a revelation! Haven’t been here for a while, but decided to try Sunday Carvery with the family. Staff were attentive and the carvery was well organised and well stocked. The food was delicious, even my fussy husband was pleased. We’re not big eaters and opted for the normal size plate. It was just enough for me. Mind you I didn’t pile up my plate like others. Gravy boats are available as well as apple sauce etc. We will be back!

An excellent evening meal, very good friendly service. 5he seafood risotto with sea bass was delicious and also the lamb and mint pie, with lots of gravy! The breakfast was also excellent.
