Gorgeous location in a peaceful village. Chosen as it’s family and dog friendly. Didn’t disappoint. Lovely food enjoyed whilst sitting in the spring sunshine. Attentive and helpful landlady. Topped off with a walk through the adjacent nature reserve after our meal. Perfect.

Cosy environment, very relaxing and entertaining to watch and interact with cats, we got to feed them chicken which they loved. The red velvet cake was delicious! Will definitely be back!

Banarasi – HullThe food was absolutely out of this world as always. Have never gone for a meal and been disappointed with the quality of the food. However the seating was lacking. I booked the meal 3-4 weeks in advance we were sat in the bar which is a lovely atmosphere however could not hear my friend as there was so much noice i am autistic this was a struggle for me. Would have been nicer to sit in the restaurant bit or the front bit as this did bring the meal down as it was a nice catch up for me and a friend. The service was also lacking, no one came to ask if food was okay or to offer more drinks and couldn’t find anyone at the end to ask for the bill….
