Great food and service as always. Bridlingtons best restaurant in my opinion Lovely staff

The three of us wanted a change to the places we often frequent to my son decided to visit the Maypole as it is a long time since we had been. The two ladies that we saw were both pleasant and we were served our drinks which my wife and son had their normal bottled fruit cider so the norm and mine a pint of beer (can't remember which) but it was a great taste and went down well. There was a good choice of food on the menu and the specials board. When it arrived it was lovely and came with vegetables etc. The only disappointment was my son wanted the game pie as I had but there was only one left. He had another dish (scampi) which he enjoyed too. My wife also enjoyed hers. So three different meals all of which were enjoyed. It was slightly more expensive than some other pubs but not enough to stop us going back again and it is comparable with others in the Yorkshire Dales villages.

Our first visit yesterday for lunch with some friends and it certainly did not disappoint. Lovely warm welcome from the waitress. Excellent service and choice of food from a very interesting menu. We will be back.

Wanted to try this place for ages and so glad we finally did. The pizza was the best pizza ever from all, the carbonara arancini was absolutely bomb! Steak Panuozzo also! Everything was tbf. Staff were lush and helped with the hub’s birthday cake and balloons. Usually we feel rushed when eating out but here the service was a bit slow because of large tables dining but we didn’t mind at all because the atmosphere was cosy and we got to have a mint birra craic while we waited.

Very nice Ravioli I had. Mum had the Salmon Penne. Very nice staff. Very nice overall.

One of our favourite places to eat in Cottingham. Food is lovely, a good range on the menu to suit everyone and a lovely atmosphere.

Great food and nice atmosphere. Catered for Gluten allergy which was an easy menu to understand.

I came for lunch last weekend with a friend. Lookout is a lovely place with a very friendly atmosphere. The staff are lovely. Our food was disappointing. We had the haddock and chips, mushy peas and tea. The meal was a bit flavourless and peas too sweet. It was a shame that the tea wasn’t in a pot. I have eaten before and really enjoyed it, it just wasn’t great this time.

Probably the best food i’ve eaten in years. Great food great atmosphere and great service. I live in skipton and had friends visiting from Liverpool. We were all delighted we had an amazing evening in Le Bistro and look forward to coming back.

Booked a table for 6pm Sunday online, 20 mile round trip, on arrival told they had finished serving, total waste of time.

Great meal yesterday for Sunday lunch. There is a great deal on all day or also a lunch deal. The portions are huge and the quality of food is excellent. I can honestly say I had pizza and it was the best I have had for a long time. We will definitely be back again soon. Cannot recommend high enough.

We went Sunday evening ordered a garlic bread what come cold and I ordered a steak I did say well done but it’s really was burnt I think all the food was too garlic for some reason

We bring my Mum about once a month. The pub/restaurant has a lovely vibrant atmosphere with staff always polite and ready to help. The food is always excellent. However, unfortunately there is no easy access for my Mum who struggles with the awkward steps, as she is not very steady on her feet and needs two people to help her. May I suggest a ramp with a rail, which would benefit wheelchair access also? Thank you

Sunday lunch was fantastic. Thai coconut prawns with chilli sauce to start with. Mains we decided on the fish pie, unbelievable. Absolutely delicious from start to finish. Can't wait to go back.
