Tocketts Mill Country Park and Restaurant – GuisboroughCalled for lunch and ordered the Cod Goujons, vegetarian lasagne and a cooked dinner. It took a little longer to arrive than other places but that gave us a chance to chat and it was worth the wait. We had Biscoff Cheesecake for dessert and it was the nicest cheesecake I’ve had in a long time. It was quite pricey but we were treating ourselves and was totally worth it. The Staff were really nice and looked after us. Would definitely recommend.
Tocketts Mill Country Park and Restaurant – GuisboroughWe booked a table for 6 in the bar area, which is the area we prefer to eat in. The staff as always make you feel very welcome. They give us plenty of time to order our drinks, as well giving us enough time to pick what we wanted to eat. As usual the food was lovely and all 6 of us made a great comment on what they had pick. The atmosphere is always very pleasant.

Denmans Restaurant – HalifaxRestaurant is lovely and the staff made us feel welcome, very friendly. However, I was a little uninspired by my meal. I ordered the lamb chops as a main meal, and whilst they tasted ok, they were cooked to the point of being dry. I was disappointed that the best offering they could provide with it was a big plate of chips to go with what I thought was supposed to be authentic Indian food. No sure I would go again.
Banarasi – HullWe went with our grandson and granddaughter who always really enjoy the experience. They love interacting with the cats and treat them with respect. The staff are very friendly and informative. My grandchildren love finding out about the different personalities of the cats. And of course they love a treat from the cafe!
Tabby Teas – SheffieldBooked a table midweek for four of us. We all had the afternoon small plate specials (£9.50 each). 2 roast dinners (choice of pork, beef or turkey) beef was lovely, 1 homemade quiche, and 1 lasagne. All meals were excellent, not just in the quality of food but in the portion sizes as well. The rooms are well set out and atmosphere great, can't wait for the summer where there is outside seating too. We have been before, and we will be going again.
Tocketts Mill Country Park and Restaurant – GuisboroughWOW, everything was fantastic and food delicious
Tanvi’s Indian Cuisine – WakefieldWe were in Bridlington and looking for a place to have a meal with a friend. Somebody recommended Little Sicily and so we booked an evening meal. What a fantastic time we had. From the initial welcome to the meal itself, everything was perfect. The menu is extensive as is the drinks menu and all at a very good price. We can thoroughly recommend it.
Little Sicily – BridlingtonWe visited for a celebratory birthday lunch last Saturday; this was their new location next to Specsavers at one end of the town’s car park. The place looked very upmarket, there was already a jug of cold water on the table, fairy lights enhanced the atmosphere, and the overall ambience of the place was excellent and inviting. Ceylon Chicken, Sri Lankan Devilled Beef, Spicy Liver Badum, Moratuwa Chicken, Chicken Kottu, Sri Lankan Tiger Prawn Curry, Pineapple Moju, 3 sides (Pol roti, Coconut rice and spicy baby potatoes) and Watalappan for dessert. We also had Colombo chai (spiced). All this was more than enough for 3 hungry persons. You can look them up in their online menu for further descriptions on www.brooksilkley.co.uk/menu. Each and every item was very authentic; I have been to Sri Lanka and can vouch for this. Amazing and delicious tastes all round, very well presented. Small touches like premier cutlery and crockery, actual cloth napkins, right down to the small Kilner sealed container for the brown sugar accompanying the tea and also the warmed-up milk that came with it, were all a resounding testimony to outstanding attention detail that the owners have invested in. It is a family-run business; we were given an excellent welcome and attention throughout subsequently from Sudu, the owner who was very knowledgeable and informative – nothing was too much for her. Her nephew Nisel was also very helpful. It is really a very unique experience – despite being a foodie I have not heard of any Sri Lankan restaurant anywhere offering a tapas-like experience. They also do a Sunday afternoon buffet which we shall try at some stage in the near future. Slightly pricey (our bill came to about £114) – we did go over the top a bit while ordering - but in view of all of the above, really worth it, I would opine. In future, we would like to try other items on their menu, perhaps exercising a degree of restraint on what we order. Altogether an extremely pleasurable dining experience – very highly recommended
Brooks – IlkleyExcellent - food, service, location. Best in Scarborough - by some distance. Was full when we left, lunchtime on a rainy Tuesday afternoon in winter. Says it all
Lookout On The Pier – ScarboroughCame for my sons 18th birthday. Lovely food, we sat down, drinks ordered straight away, ordered from the menu, the food was hot , tasty and delicious and came within about 15 mins. We ordered side dishes as well . They were big portions too. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Maxis – YorkOne of our favourite go to restaurants in Morley .. food and service is always excellent …good value for money too .
Sambuca Ristorante Morley – MorleyAbsolutely superb! Brilliant steaks and a top notch Sunday dinner served by a wonderful team. The desserts (on the specials board) were exceptional...made by a brilliant young pasty chef me met (called Jack). The bar was superbly managed by a lass called Charlotte, and we could not ask for more at that price. Thank you!
The Copper Cow – Sowerby BridgeWhilst out for the day we were looking for somewhere to eat. We found a hidden gem. The service e and food were amazing and the portions were a good size. An olde world atmosphere and everyone was very friendly
The Royal Oak Staveley – HarrogateWe came for my husband's birthday yesterday. What a lovely host and hostess! They were patient and attentive, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed. Definitely be back Ps the calamari and lasagne were both sooo good
Sambuca Ristorante Morley – MorleyVery friendly helpful staff. Food lovely and fresh.
Lookout On The Pier – ScarboroughWe had a bottomless brunch for a party of 8 people, the service we received wasn’t great, we had to keep asking for drinks and it was taking ages for them to come and the lady said we aren’t supposed to do that however the only reason we asked was because it was taken so long, so we decided to get bottles as we thought it would be faster but it wasn’t. They would bring 5 drinks then 3 people were left without, I would understand if it was busy in there however it seemed quite quiet, I feel as though the staff looked very stressed as it was a big group of people but don’t accept big bookings if we can only have 4 drinks each at a bottomless brunch, I do feel like some of the staff tried there best. Going on to the food, the food was amazing couldn’t fault the taste however chips were a bit cold but the pizza and Parmo was 10/10. I would return with maybe a smaller group wouldn’t recommend for big groups :)
