Second visit in a week, lovely food and great service again.

My Dad and I have been coming here for years and it never lets us down. Great mixture of well-known French dishes and other favourites, generous portions and a good choice of wines by the glass. Service is always cheerful and the place is right in the centre of town. (p.s. the Queenie scallops are particularly sinful - don't miss!)

Great little restaurant tucked away at the side of the River Ouse. Staff were great, couldn't do enough for you. All you can eat buffet, loved the Chinese and Tandoori sections, had a chef to cook meat on skewers of your choice rang a bell when it was ready for you to collect. Desserts were wow, simply gorgeous, so many from brownies, eton mess, apple crumble, mousses, ice cream. Even had bowls of sweets, loved the cola bottles. £23.99 per person you can not go wrong here for value for money. Drinks weren't expensive either.

Lovely meal and such good value! We had the early bird and the food was delicious, service was great and staff really friendly and attentive. Thank you for a really enjoyable evening!

Excellent food and service as always

We ate last night Saturday 3rd food as always was 100% the restaurant was very busy but we felt all staff were brilliant. They got our food out as quickly as they could. We will defo be returning as always. Thanks for a lovely night xx

Food was absolutely fantastic. Staff were brilliant. The head waiter was very knowledgeable and suggested we tried some dishes which were called street food .these were amazing. Highly recommended definitely will be going back again . Can't fault the food or service

First time here, beautiful food love the fact the menu switches weekly. All the plates we had were delicious! Loving family feeling and cosy atmosphere.

We've never been to the Craven before. We picked it whilst staying over for the weekend nearby and we weren't disappointed. The Craven was lovely. Great food and really good service. Defo worth a visit if you're in the area

This is my fourth visit. There's always a good atmosphere. The staff ate very friendly and helpful. Food is always tasty. It's very clean, well spaced and comfortable. It was a nice day and we were able to sit outside although the bifold doors were open making it cool and airy throughout.

The restaurant is small, in a cosy sense, well decorated with Sicilian paintings and puppets etc, very tasteful. The staff were very polite and accommodating. Extensive menu choice, and dessert choice visible from our table. The kitchen is open so you can see the process and the lengths the chefs are going to. We live in Leeds but come from Cefalu near Palermo. We ended up speaking to the owners who were lovely, it was nice to speak to Paesani! We all chose a pasta dish, mine was Penne alla Montagnola, with a tasty sauce, sausage with fennel and mushrooms. No word of a lie it was the best dish I’ve eaten in a restaurant in a long time. My partner ordered pasta with Funghi porcini and my son pasta with chicken in a cream sauce. All three dishes were divine, compliments to the chef. We’ll definitely go back, that’s if we can get in! The place is very popular and was packed the Saturday night we went.

We had a great birthday celebration at The Kings Arms. All the dishes ordered by our party of eleven people were great. The service was prompt and friendly. We will certainly visit agan when we are next in the area.

The midweek offer is very good value and the food was fantastic as always.

I ate at the Kings Head twice, first night I ate the vegan burger which was really good, second night the mushroom wellington, which was also really good. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Lovely two course lunch, good value for money, great food and friendly service .

This was our first time dining here. The restaurant was clean and spacious and there was also a dining area outside. The food was excellent, my partner had jumbo cod and chips and I had chicken fajitas. The jumbo cod was definitely jumbo! The menu caters for a broad range of tastes and the food is good value for money. The staff were polite and efficient. I would definitely recommend this, and will be returning.
