We booked a table for 4 approx 3 weeks prior to the night in question, for 7pm, we got there at 6:50 and were shown to a table in the conservatory we were not asked for a booking name just asked to find a table. Conservatory had patio heaters but is was still chilly. Our drinks order was taken promptly once drinks were brought our food order was taken at 8:00pm I asked a member of bar staff if there was a problem, they advised that food wouldn’t be long, another 15mins went by and I asked a waitress if she could find out if our food was coming, food finally arrived about 1 1/2 hrs after we sat down. Food was average and somewhat disappointing given the time taken to serve. The only excuse given was that there were a number of large bookings, we were also a booking! Shame really as we have always enjoyed Tocketts, maybe time to look elsewhere.

We’ve been eating at Bota Fogo for quite some time now and it’s one of our favourite restaurants. The food is consistently excellent. The staff are friendly and the drinks are well made (cocktails a plenty) great Brazilian beer on offer as well. Absolutely recommend eating here ❤️❤️❤️
