4 of us had a late lunch 6th of August. Fantastic surroundings very chilled, very tasty food and good portion sizes. Staff very attentive and chatty without it seeming forced, great place to visit.

Myself and my partner came in for a meal yesterday, Monday 5th August, had table booked for 7pm, we both felt our meal and time here was very rushed, didn’t finish our starters before they brought out our mains! Service here is always normally very chilled and calm but we felt we didn’t get the service like we had before! We have both said that we have always had a good service and evening!

Lovely place with friendly welcoming staff. Food is fab but at busy times service can suffer! We had to remind staff on a couple of occasions about drinks, dessert menus and the bill, and even though you might catch a member of staff you can’t order anything unless they have an I pad! Be warned! Management, your staff are doing the best they can but need more help at busy periods Booking is recommended especially for the Sunday carvery! Highly recommend the Parmo, and the Malaysian curry, puddings are huge and very tasty!, the lemon meringue is fantastic, leave room!

Arrived on Sunday 4th August, welcomed by staff,shown to table very quickly,service girls came and took our orders,great to see,carvery was excellent,plenty of choice.and hot,will recommend tockets mill as all staff very polite 10/10.

I have been visiting Botafogo since it opened & it's the best restaurant in Huddersfield. The quality & service is the best & is always consistent. They go over & above to make sure your experience at their restaurant is the best & it shows. I have visited this place with so many friends & family who have always gone back time after time. Every cut of meat & every side is mouthwatering & the small starters which are provided, really are beautiful. This is by far the best restaurant i have ever been to.

Fantastic restaurant, wonderful atmosphere, great service from start to finish. Very attentive staff but without being too at you. The food is just amazing, whether it's their pasta or pizza or the great selection of other foods and the kids food is wonderful too. Would highly recommend.

Went for Sunday lunch (albeit 6:30 on Sunday evening !) The friendliness of the staff upon arrival was matched by the helpfulness of the waiting and kitchen staff. We had a vegetarian in our party who made a couple of requests all satisfied without hesitation and in fact the kitchen made a couple of other options not on the menu. The rest had the variety of Sunday lunches and all agreed they were delicious. I first visited a few years ago when visiting this area and be sure we will be back next time we are in the vicinity.

Second visit in a week, lovely food and great service again.

My Dad and I have been coming here for years and it never lets us down. Great mixture of well-known French dishes and other favourites, generous portions and a good choice of wines by the glass. Service is always cheerful and the place is right in the centre of town. (p.s. the Queenie scallops are particularly sinful - don't miss!)

Great little restaurant tucked away at the side of the River Ouse. Staff were great, couldn't do enough for you. All you can eat buffet, loved the Chinese and Tandoori sections, had a chef to cook meat on skewers of your choice rang a bell when it was ready for you to collect. Desserts were wow, simply gorgeous, so many from brownies, eton mess, apple crumble, mousses, ice cream. Even had bowls of sweets, loved the cola bottles. £23.99 per person you can not go wrong here for value for money. Drinks weren't expensive either.

Lovely meal and such good value! We had the early bird and the food was delicious, service was great and staff really friendly and attentive. Thank you for a really enjoyable evening!

Excellent food and service as always

We ate last night Saturday 3rd food as always was 100% the restaurant was very busy but we felt all staff were brilliant. They got our food out as quickly as they could. We will defo be returning as always. Thanks for a lovely night xx

Food was absolutely fantastic. Staff were brilliant. The head waiter was very knowledgeable and suggested we tried some dishes which were called street food .these were amazing. Highly recommended definitely will be going back again . Can't fault the food or service

First time here, beautiful food love the fact the menu switches weekly. All the plates we had were delicious! Loving family feeling and cosy atmosphere.
