Lovely pub and great food with a good menu, Highly recommend

Great place to go. Super friendly and attentive staff. Food was fabulous. We tried the all you can eat and while each plate was small it gave the opportunity to try different things I don't normally order. The lamb chops and butter chicken were divine. We left stuffed! Will be back.

It ws our anniversary, and my wife and I had a wonderful evening. Great food. Wonderful service. And a great atmosphere. Couldn't have asked for more.

An excellent stay at the Craven Arms. The dining experience was faultless: excellent food with a good choice, friendly service and a superb dining room. The room was small but comfortable with excellent beds. There was some traffic noise from the A65 nearby but earplugs solved that and the floor above creaked quite loudly at times. The landlord was always around for information and a chat. A great place to stay and I would recommend it to others in search of a great countryside experience.

Food was amazing! We both had the beef wellington which was lovely. Staff were lovely and friendly especially one staff member who brought a book over to our tired toddler which was greatly appreciated! 100% recommended.

Evening out with old friends - seated straight away and drinks order taken shortly after. Waitress very helpful about food choices and chatty with bubbly personality. Ordered food and came in good time. Food was delicious. Mains hot and tasty. Dessert scrumptious. Very nice evening altogether.

We have been to Tanvis many times and have never been disappointed. The food is lovely and the service is very good. We took my mother in law last night for the first time and she really enjoyed it.

Went here on a Hen Do and had an amazing time! We did the bottomless brunch and the staff were so attentive! We all constantly had multiple drinks on the go and they brought over shots and some drinks that were not on the menu for us to try imbetween our ordered cocktails. I had the chicken Yorkshire Pudding which was lovely! I had it with the mac and cheese which wasn't my favourite but I think that's just a personal preference! I honestly can't recommend this place enough!
