Banarasi – Hullgreat food and service, very good atmosphere and cocktails top notch
Roots Rum Shack and Kitchen – HullBeen here several times over recent years and have found the service and food invariably first class. Will continue to return.
Craven Arms – SettleVisited on Sunday 28/7/24 for a lunch Had some friends with us and we all had the carvery which was delicious lots if choice hot and tasty. Plenty of food you will leave full. Great choice of drinks and helpful staff to. 3 carverys 1 dessert 2 rounds of drinks for everyone £75 . Very good .
Tocketts Mill Country Park and Restaurant – GuisboroughWe called in for an evening meal on a really busy Sunday, generous portions and good food so no complaints. Service was good and would have scored higher if we had got the jug of water we asked for- maybe splitting hairs though, as we could have asked again I suppose and we would definitely visit again.
The Maypole – SkiptonFabulous Sunday lunch with friendly service.
The Kings Arms – RichmondFabulous Sunday lunch. Sirloin beef perfect and just the right colour! Various vegetables, roasties spot on and mash incredible ( I normally leave mash, odd I know). All piping hot, which is a must for me. Staff relaxed and friendly. We will definately be back.
Panuozzos – MiddlesbroughExcellent food - go there a lot but this was the nicest it’s ever been! Lovely setting, great service. Most proactive approach I’ve ever had around my nut allergy and it made all the difference to feel like the restaurant understood it was serious and it wasn’t a problem. It was the first question they asked which made me feel like I could bring it up without seeming like I was causing a fuss. Coupled with the key on the menus, this made it a safe and enjoyable experience. First time I’ve risked a pudding when eating out in years and it was delicious! Be back very soon
Tocketts Mill Country Park and Restaurant – GuisboroughPerfect, authentic food with a great service. More than enough food to eat, so much we took some home! We had the meat platter which was cooked to perfection. Returning customers, we will be returning again. Only thing to add is that the music inside is a tad too loud, which makes it hard to hear fellow guests.
The Aegean Taverna – HullWow. This was our first time at Tocketts Mill, as we are new to the area. All I can say it was amazing. The staff are courteous and took into account of my allergies. The food was amazing. And so much. The choice was good. The puddings were large too, we ended up sharing. We will definitely be going again.
Tocketts Mill Country Park and Restaurant – GuisboroughAlthough we enjoyed the friendly experience at the Kings Arms, unfortunately two people in our party of four, both choosing vegan options were very poorly with what seemed like food poisoning afterwards. It was the only thing we ate that day so very possibly the culprit. We understand that vegan may be a less popular option, but wondered if the food was fresh. Overall disappointing and we wouldn't feel safe to return.
The Kings Arms – RichmondWe were eating prior to an evening at Hull New Theatre. Staff were friendly and helpful and service was quick. We kicked off with a platter of jamon, olives and bread The food arrived straight from the kitchen and in generous portions. Fat flavoursome gambas in garlic, excellent padron peppers, pork ribs and albondigas. I enjoyed a glass of Spanish house white wine and finished off with pear in red wine with ice cream.
El Toro Hull – HullGreat food, great service, great value for money. We are a party of 8 and in some restaurants the seating makes it difficult to speak with all of the party but the table / seating was great for larger parties. Quiet night, which was fine by us. All 8 of us enjoyed our food which is rare. We'll definitely be returning. Very happy customer, well done.
Tocketts Mill Country Park and Restaurant – GuisboroughVisited on weds this week party of 6 was very busy but service was still pretty good faster than we expected, the food choice on tapas is excelent and the actual food was great will be back
El Toro Hull – HullUnfortunately, the meal was so bad we cancelled our booking for Saturday. The starter - Prawns with Chorizo was dreadful - 4 prawns in a greasy fat with lumps of chorizo - very salty and unpalatable. Only the prawns were edible and they dripped with grease. My main course I sent back. I ordered a Sea Bass Risotto. There was no 'risotto' only hard, mainly uncooked rice - again inedible. My husband's fish and chips - the chips were thick and very soggy. The fish inside the very thick, overcooked batter though was apparently alright. I was a shame, as it was the first day of our holiday and we were very disappointed.
The Kings Arms – RichmondWith our offices just over the road we're regular visitors for lunch or post work drinks. We recently booked to host an event and would definitely recommend. Even en masse the food is still fantastic and was a great atmosphere. We got excellent service throughout and Stuart was really accommodating.
The Goodluck Club – Leeds City CentreI love visiting this restaurant. The food is fantastic - portions are decent and everything I've tried (quite a substantial part of the menu now) has tasted amazing. Salt and pepper chips and panko halloumi are two of my faves! The staff are all very friendly. The premises is clean as well as the toilets. Would definitely recommend if you're someone who likes good food at a good price and a decent portion size.
The Goodluck Club – Leeds City CentreFood is just so wonderful. Every mouthful is a treat. So many dishes to choose from.
