Food- amazing. Our second visit- I had scampi and got loads! Everyone else had great portions. The only minus points were, both last time and this time, it took ages for them to clear our plates away, last time it wasn’t done until we left. Also, we had our dog with us and we love going to a dog friendly pub but again, last time and this time there was a dog at the bar barking a lot and I guess the owner is a regular or works there as there was no effort made to quiet it. All other dogs in bar, (at least 5) all beautifully behaved though.

The wait here is usually a little longer than other places but when you get the food you realise why. It's always fresh, piping hot and delicious. I eat here fairly regularly for business functions and I recommend it. The food is lovely, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is really good - not too loud but not sterile either. If it's a sunny day there are some lovely seating areas outside.

We came for my son’s 8th birthday, amazing staff so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The food was lovely and fresh. At the end of the meal they did the happy birthday song with an ice cream and a candle for my son which he throughly enjoyed! We did find the prices have gone up for since our last visit (we visit a few times a year) but that is to be expected with the current times.

Came with my son for his 20th birthday meal, just the two of us . Despite being incredibly busy for a function, the place was clean and tidy, service was excellent, food came quickly but not too quickly that it felt rushed and the food was as always, truly amazing. We’ve eaten here a few times over the years and the expectation is high but they didn’t disappoint. The young waiter is a lovely person and very good at his job.. thank you Arthur

Superb service, very friendly and accomodating . The food is excellent and in generous amounts for 'small plates'. We were very well attended to and very happy with the quality of the food. Well done Banarasi!

I visit here regularly as the food is always great as is the service. Ive been here as part of a large group for occasions and also when there is jyst 2 of us.The staff are always very polite and helpful. I've had various dishes from the lunch and evening menu and have always been very happy with whatever I have chosen. I highly recommend tocketts mill.

First time visiting and was impressed, service, atmosphere, venue and food were all brilliant. Will definitely be back.

6 adults and 2 boys walked in Sunday 08/09/2024 and were made to feel very welcome by the staff and a couple of regulars. The staff were very accommodating, moving table and chairs for us to sit together and provided a jug of cold water for us. The food on offer was a carvery small plate £6.00, large plate £8.00. We chose the small roast which was very good value for money and was cooked very well. It was off the main roads but well worth finding it.

Food was delicious! Came for a date night with partner and it didn’t disappoint…busy, with a great atmosphere and reasonably priced…great service too.

A new favourite! Food was delicious with incredibly generous portion sizes, staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was perfect - Cosy, well-lit, and with music playing at a perfectly ambient volume to allow conversation without feeling like you were disturbing the peace. Will definitely be returning in the future.

There was a group of 9 of us for my son 18th. The food and service was brilliant. The premises was clean the toilets spotless. The food outstanding looked good and tasted amazing . All freshly cooked so much to choose from. Table service was great plates taken away quickly and drinks supplied when needed

Always an absolute pleasure eating here. Staff are friendly and courteous but not intrusive. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Our favourite local restaurant and would recommend.
