Food was average, wrong potatoes used for chips (probably the cheapest potatoes) and came out mahogany colour, fish very oily. Bar staff did not asked who was next so served people who came after us before us, it's nice to feel invisible. Won't return

Le Bistro Des Amis – SkiptonWe booked a table for 2 and received lots of reminders which was good. From the outside we thought it looked a small and non assuming place. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the size once inside, the place was packed, the tagliatelle pollo & pizza were lovely, the staff extremely personable and professional and the bottle of wine complemented the food. Overall cost approx £60. A lovely restaurant, we would recommend and we would definitely go back.

Tocketts Mill Country Park and Restaurant – GuisboroughWe arrived at a booked table at 6.15pm. We booked the restaurant but was asked to walk around to the bar. The tables are low compared to the seats you seat on which was not great (had major back surgery 01.07.2024). Then our food never came to our table till 7.40pm (we ordered straight away once seated). By the time the food came I was feeling sick from waiting and the pain from bending. Wasn't a great experience which was upsetting because we don't get out much for a treat

The barman who served us our drinks and took our order was a credit to the business, a real gentleman and professional. We can't remember his name, but I do remember he comes from Manchester. He was a super guy, very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and very good value for money. We really enjoyed it. We will definitely come back the next time we're in Long Preston.
