Sadly this was not a great experience this time. Party of 5 pre-booked for 3pm. No table ready and then shoe-horned in to the next available table. Table was dirty and had to be re cleaned at our request. Gluten free person was unhappy with no roast potatoes or parsnips and end of roast small pieces of meat. Gluten free Yorkshire pudding and gravy were nice. One other diner left a large amount of meat due to it being hard end pieces of ham. We had to ask for Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes to be replenished and staff appeared run off their feet and very stressed. Not a great pre booked experience at all! Incredibly loud atmosphere to the point of being unable to hear each other speak and bad experience of an unclean ladies toilet. We had always had a great experience previously and thus were treating visiting guests from Germany. Bitterly disappointed.

Lovely food, served quite quickly by friendly staff. Best roast I've had in a long time.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch with huge Yorkshire puddings which were amazing. The staff were super helpful, flexible with menu tweaks and attentive without being intrusive. Desserts were good. Only point to feedback is the seat pads dipped making them lower than they looked. Will definitely go again.!!

This is the second time we have been to Denmans and it was just amazing as the first. The food, the service and atmosphere was amazing!!! Would definitely recommend, such a boutique restaurant in the area, producing amazing food for such a good price.

We have been coming to the Dales for over 20 yrs and eating ant The King’s Arms over the same amount of time. I must say that this year our experience has been exceptional. Right from contacting to book our reservations and then tweaking arrangements everything has been dealt with in a speedy, friendly and efficient way. The customer service and staff have all been brilliant. It’s so lovely to always receive a cheerful welcome. The food has been excellent. Thank you to all the staff. Keep up the good work and we look forward to dining with you again on our next visit.

First time going on Friday 30th August. Drove past the restaurant a few times. Looked it up online/Facebook, The menu looked good. We had 6 dishes, all fantastic . Not rushed, and friendly service . Will definitely go back and recommend.

Food was nice. Service was very slow. We had to ask a few times for a jug of water for the table. Drinks came but took a while. Food was missing from our order and took a while for this to be rectified.

We booked a table for 4 and we’re offered a choice of tables. The Rose House Vino was lovely quality. Service first class. Lovely Home made Greek food! We will definitely visit again!

What can I say, it’s the 2nd time we have visited and on both occasions the food, and staff have been faultless. We had a few started and the Greek mixed grill and everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection.
