Fabulous service factor food and choice would definitely recommend

Not the first time we have dined here and won't be the last. Amazing food, lovely staff, great ambience and reasonably priced, what more could you ask for. Highly recommended.

Food was fab. Service however was very disappointing. After our mains we were asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu- which we declined. We were then left for over half an hour without any attention. No one asked us if we would like any more drinks or coffee. There was no one about to ask for the bill. We could have literally got up and left and no one would have known whether or not we had paid. We had to go downstairs and ask for the bill. The young gentleman was very apologetic. Hopefully this was an isolated incident.

Delicious food and friendly approachable and available service in a comfortable environment: we’ve ordered off the specials and the main menus a number of times and never had anything to reproach.

Interesting selection of small plates. All beautifully prepared and served. Tasted delicious. Great selection of fish and vegetarian food. We really enjoyed our meal. Charming, friendly service. Thank you.

Top class food and service as usual- you cannot go wrong in this place- we have yet to have less than 100% satisfactory food and service- always a pleasure to dine here.

We booked a table for our wedding anniversary after having had the most wonderful meal at Le Bistro back in November of last year. There were lots of delicious options to choose from on the starter and main course menu. We settled on the Parma ham and melon with deep fried rocket and also the queenie scallops in a Gruyère cheese sauce for our starters. Both were delicious. For main course I had the seafood money bag with fries and hubby had the pan roasted Yorkshire breast of chicken with mash and French garlic mushroom sauce. Again, both were delicious. We only had enough space left for half a dessert so we opted for tiramisu and two spoons. That was really good too. The service we received was lovely and also attentive without being too intrusive. The downstairs restaurant area was pretty much full - not bad for a Tuesday evening. Can’t wait to go again!

Best meal of our Ilkley trip! Food was fab and the owner was so friendly too. Really enjoyed our visit there.

Had a lovely lunch here with some colleagues. Staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful and accommodating. Everything on the menu sounds delicious. Each of us had something different and were all very satisfied with our meals. Beautiful food, wonderful staff and it always seems busy! Will be back again for sure!

Found this restaurant airy, clean and food very tasty. Hot day, with Bi fold doors open showing the terrace, but was really nice in restaurant. Tables were nicely spaced, staff very friendly and food very good.

Lovely place, very relaxing. Cats are gorgeous. Well worth a visit

We had a beautiful lunch on Saturday. All of the food was freshly cooked, with wonderful flavours and excellent service. Would highly recommend.

A lovely Sunday carvery, thoroughly enjoyed by the 4 of us. Delicious food in very pleasant surroundings, with polite & attentive staff. We’ll be back!

We'd used this as a family meet up between Leeds and Sedbergh during Covid and were well pleased with the personal service from the attentive staff. Chose this again and were blessed with a lovely Sunny day to enjoy a drink in the sheltered garden/patio area before our pre booked lunch for 6. 3 Pork and 1 beef roast and other 2 being soup and sandwich with everyone well pleased. good quality, good service, good price. Such a lovely place to visit. The cats are very cute and the staff are friendly. We had a drinks and cakes which were all excellent. They give you domes so the cats can’t get to your cakes which I think it very thoughtful.
