Fabulous authentic Italian. Gorgeous food & lovely ambience. In a great spot close to the seafront. The service is first class & highly recommend the cannelloni.

Many thanks for a great dining experience in the Dales. I also had one of the inn's rooms for the night. It's always nice to be able to check in after a long day's drive, get changed and have a perfect dinner ready to sit down to, and then take a very necessary night's rest. In fact the full Yorkshire breakfast next morning was just as essential to prepare for another long day, and it definitely makes a difference to the overall quality of a holiday experience when everything goes right in terms of dining and sleeping arrangements! Fortunately somebody from the staff at Craven Arms alerted me by phone of a couple of items left behind in the room before I had driven too far down the road, so could recover them! Thanks again!

Food was delicious as usual, the staff are friendly helpful and knowledgeable. It is our go to place for all celebrations. My 93 year old uncle loves this place.

Had a very nice lunch, my mum is dairy and gluten intolerant and they made her plain grilled chicken and chips with a side salad which she really enjoyed, my friend and I had Cajun chicken it was delicious but you used to put a side salad on the side aswell as the mushrooms and onion rings but we didn’t have any this time it was really missed it just completes the dish. But despite that it was a lovely lunch.

Three of is went on Sunday for the all you can eat tapas and it's wasn't great. The prawn choice you only get two prawns. The potato dishes a big though. Taste wasn't good in the slow beef and lamb. My daughter had the chicken and potato croquet but no chicken, more like the frozen ones you get at home. The service was good, although the table was very sticky. Unfortunately I think the all you can eat tapas has traded taste and quality for quantity. On the basis of spending £73 on Sunday we wouldn't return.

I checked the website and as my son is. A vegetarian he wouldn’t eat a carvery, but saw on a Sunday evening there was an a la carte menu also, so I booked On arriving we were told it was a carvery with mushroom stroganoff as vegetarian option. He doesn’t eat mushrooms so had to make do with a plate of vegetables. Which was the same price as my meal with meat and stuffing. When I paid I told the cashier that the website said there was alternative food to a carvery and she said oh the website needs changing. Poor customer service will not be coming again

Whilst the staff may be jolly and helpful that doesn’t forgive lack of attention or service to our table unfortunately . Coupled with the drunken locals ( swearing and shouting ) who are usually in and ultimately were asked to leave after glasses broken the atmosphere soured somewhat . The food is overpriced as is the wine . The quality of the food was acceptable .

Food & the service was excellent

We came on Friday 24th May. Beautiful busy Restaurant, really friendly attentive staff & it’s always nice to not be rushed. All our Starters were yummy. Our 6 mains tasted gorgeous from burgers to pastas, pork, Chicken. ( unfortunately no lamb left) everyone was very impressed. Some lovely choices to choose from and a Good choice of drinks. no draft on when we came but plenty of other choices to choose. The only very small minor thing for us was no new cutlery given from starters to mains & the staff was so busy so we needed to wait & ask but that was it. Think you would need to book as the restaurant was full. We will definitely be returning. Thanks again for an enjoyable meal.
