Room lovely and clean , staff very friendly, and the food was excellent.

Wednesday lunch with friends who were visiting from the south. Really warm, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere with great beer option. Wonderful varied lunch menu and all six options were delicious with very good sized portions. A rare thing - a landlady who was interested in her customers and took time to chat. Could not fault the place and we will be back. Thank you.

I spent a lovely and relaxed hour here with my daughter. The staff were lovely and the cats were an absolutely delight. We really enjoyed meeting them. The drinks and cakes were also delicious and very reasonable. We will definitely be back. x

Such a lovely welcome as usual from Charlotte, Ellie and the cats. I very much enjoyed my mocha and gluten free cake and watching the kitties antics, especially chicky snack time. Thank you so much again xx

First time diner! Brought the mother in law, who can be quite fussy I might add. The food was lovely, good cuts of meat cooked to perfection, although the 'roast potatoes' were not roasted at all, they were fried like school tatties! Why do that? I would have loved some cauliflower cheese too, but hey ho! Overall, it was nice, a very busy restaurant with little space between tables which is a bit perilous if your carrying a hot plate of food back to your table! The mother in law enjoyed it for Mothers Day, that's the main thing.

I came with my family here (4 of us) and thought service was a bit slow and not many top ups happening.Then that night 3 out of the 4 were ill with food poisoning badly and when asked for a refund we got told without proof from a hospital they wouldn’t do anything about it. I’ve also had lots of people tell me that this same thing has happened to them so will absolutely not be returning.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Tabby Teas ! The vibe was so relaxed and you can tell each member of staff cares about the cats with the upmost love and affection. The food was divine and I can’t wait to go back !

This is one of our favourite pubs to visit locally… the pub is always warm and welcoming and the food is always delicious. There is always a varied menu. The homemade desserts are amazing. (Especially the bread and butter pudding!!!) Sunday dinner is one of our favourites… The belly pork is so tasty and is served with a homemade Yorkshire pudding, mash and roast potatoes and a lovely assortment of seasonal veg. Portions are not for the faint hearted. On Mothers Day the landlady gave a lovely scented candle as a little gift. What a lovely gesture. Thank you.

It was our 3rd visit on Sunday. The food is superb and great value. Service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.
