Fab night as always never had a bad meal here

A superb evening meeting with friends helped by being well looked after by the staff serving us some great food.

Lovely night.... all staff very helpful and friendly..... food gorgeous. Perhaps a steak knife with the pizzas.... One of our group suggested. We will be back again xx

My son and I came to Sambuca on a Tuesday evening. Booking the table was simple, online. The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated. We ordered from the early bird menu, a starter and a main for £14.95. There was plenty of choices. Excellent value for money. The food was delicious. Staff were welcoming and attentive. We would highly recommend.

Highly recommend you dine here. The staff are friendly, all food is fresh and labelled with allergens. 100% worth the cost and they have a great selection of desserts too.

Having arrived early we waited for the rest of the party to come. I booked 5 places 3 adults and 2 children 1 aged 8 and the other 10. Couldn’t fault the meal a great selection and plenty of it . The restaurant was very busy but the service was still good. When I came to pay however I was charged for 5 adults and 1 child . Firstly I booked for 5 not 6 and then they said the 10 year old was too tall . I didn’t notice any body with a tape measure but isn’t that tall , it’s a good job she wasn’t in a wheelchair! I did get my money back for the extra person after 2 days but still got charged for the 10 year old as an adult. I will be back but will be making sure before I sit down to double check my booking. Very friendly welcome and service, good selection of cocktails. We had a few tapas bits and a Caesar salad: all delicious and generous portions. Drinks are high-end bar prices but the food is very good value for money. Many thanks to the staff, would recommend and will be back

Lovely place- fab design, wonderful location and a really great menu. I absolutely loved breakfast here for my birthday, food and coffee are lovely. Dog friendly too with a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. And ooh the cakes!!! Delicious, friendly and affordable. Great value!

Myself and 2 friends booked a table at the Cow Shed Sunday morning for breakfast. We had a nice walk along the beach first.I had a small breakfast, it was very nice. One friend had the mushroom on toast. She said it was ok but she wouldn’t have it again. The latte I had was very nice. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food. Overall we enjoyed our visit. We would certainly go again. The 2 young girls who served were very pleasant.

We booked our table for Sunday lunch- booking definitely advisable & recommended. I had the perfectly cooked (pink) beef & my husband had the chicken. Fresh vegetables accompanied our meal & we thoroughly enjoyed every delicious mouthful. Staff were friendly, only marked down slightly because it’s no longer table service- I have seen people leave without paying so I understand why.

Excellent as usual with food and service

Staying in Staveley during the Easter holidays . Thoroughly enjoyed a lovely evening meal, although weren’t prepared for such large portions. Northern portions are larger than Southern ones! Very friendly, well trained serving staff with food served efficiently.

Amazing all round! Hotshot Parmo was outstanding, the kids loved their pasta and Parmo too! Lovely venue and staff great also.
