Really enjoyed our meal at Oakley's. Restaurant was fairly quiet so maybe lacked a bit of atmosphere. Weather was miserable so other people away. Our waitress was lovely, sorry I didn’t get her name. Young lady with long dark hair. If we visit Skipton again, we will return.

Went here with high expectations. First of all we ordered a pickle tray. The selection of dips were average and the popadoms had been broken in a bowl (Please just leave them whole). We then ordered a mixed grill and after touring many Indians around East Yorkshire this was a first. The mixed grill was like what your would expect from a pizza shop. The chicken drum sticks where coated in a sweet chilli, there chicken was marinated in garlic and the kofta was horrible and tasted like a strong cheese and the lamb chops came with some mint sauce. If I go to an Indian I expected to be marinated in Indian spices and come on a sizzling hot plate. Another one of our party ordered a curry and rated it average, and has upset his stomach for the following 3 day. This was also the most expensive Indian I have been to. Overall this was the worst Indian in Hull that I’ve been to. I don’t take it likely to write a bad review but with poor food and high prices I would definitely give this a wide birth.

Enjoyed a lovely meal. Service was excellent - friendly and attentive. Fpod was delicious with very generous portions.

Great little restaurant, We had the Cannelloni and the Tortellini special. The Cannelloni was delicious in a scrumptious tomato sauce, the Tortellini was unbelievable, little meat filled parcels(not cheese which isn't known nowadays) in a bolognese and mushroom sauce absolutely superb. We got a garlic bread with prawns to go with it, again very good, a lovely chilled bottle of house white, also we got the Torte nonna for desert,very nice and lemony top with almonds and pine nuts a truly excellent meal in lovely surroundings and pleasant friendly staff. Amazing place must give it a go.

Supper before the theatre & we weren’t disappointed. Lots of choice, good beautifully & skilfully presented. The upstairs is great, nice environment. Tasty, slightly different to the norm food, friendly efficient service.

Another great meal with a friend at Tocketts Mill yesterday served by ever helpful and friendly staff. Hope to be back next week with another friend.

Staying in village of Askrigg. Went to King's Arms on Monday night for meal. Very busy always a good sign. Had a lovely meal. My husband had whitebait followed by roast beef and all the trimmings. I had Hunters chicken and Eton mess. Both thoroughly enjoyed the food the friendly service and warm atmosphere

I love this place. It's been while since my last visit but it's as good as it's ever been. Thank you for creating such a chilled and relaxing environment.

After walking past the entrance many times and saying to ourselves “we must try this place “ we finally booked for Sunday afternoon with our daughter. The welcome was friendly and we were seated quickly, a jug of chilled water was delivered to our table without being asked for and a drinks order was taken. The waiting staff although quite young were very good polite. We ordered French onion soup, Garlic mushrooms and the Filey Crab for starters, then Pork, Chicken and the Seafood Money Bags for mains all of which were excellent. At the end of our main courses we were so full none of us were able to manage a dessert. We spoke briefly to the owner before we left and thanked him and his staff for an excellent meal. Although this was our first visit it will certainly not be our last.

Tocketts restaurant is always fab!! Food and service is worth every penny.

As usual Sunday Carvery was excellent and Nagy and his Staff were Superb so we will see you again soon !!!!

We as a family if 10 fully enjoyed our meal at Tockets Mill we added extra people on last minute and it wasn't a problem

Sunday so mainly Sunday lunch menu but always a couple of different dishes extra to normal menu. Really good service , excellent meal and divine desert.

A little disappointed on arrival to be told that our booking had been "rubbed out" in the diary. Offered a table that wasn't suitable for two adults, but on request we were able to move to a more suitable table. Following these initial issues, we were served very nice food and drink by very polite and helpful staff. We will return.

I had heard good reviews and thought I’d give the Sunday lunch a go, glad I booked as would have missed out ! Service was fantastic, carvery (oops and dessert) were amazing, great quality and good portions, will definitely be returning thank you for a really pleasant Sunday and did the tour of the water mill after which was also very good
