In the run up the communication with Stuart was fantastic, he followed the online booking with multiple emails and even checked the day before that we were all still coming. The service was brilliant and we were able to pay for drinks seperately at the bar. The food came quickly, and was brought out together. It was tasty and everyone enjoyed it. Would definitely book again.

Brooks – IlkleyMy wife and I booked on Saturday evening for our first visit to Brontae’s. What an experience! We were seated right in front of the kitchen (side by side) which gave us the opportunity to observe the chef at work. He was without his sous chef so had to do everything himself for a room full of diners. He was unflappable and never stopped smiling and chatting to the guests and his staff - no shouting or swearing in this kitchen!! The food was incredible. Pork cheek and tuna fish cakes were our starters followed by the duo of chicken and duck. Every dish was full of flavour and the portions were also very generous. The wine list was short and simple and our bottle of rose as good as any we have tasted. We had the best evening in a long time and without question, will be back again soon. We could not recommend this place more and so pleased it’s so close to home!!
