Everyone at our table enjoyed the food, especially the lamb shank pie. However, the service was abysmal - starters took over an hour to arrive and one of the main courses took so long that half the table had finished by the time it was served. Unacceptable when we had booked and the restaurant was otherwise empty.

Forget anywhere else in whitby for fish and chips.the food is great,the decor smart and the staff pleasant.scenic views and crisp decor.the food is just as good as the black and white place where you queue or the tiffany toilet star across from the station.

Took a bus from my over 60 's club, had a wonderful time food excellent and entertainment was spot on.

I often visited the restaurant when it was called Graveleys and was very impressed. I would like to know if you still have same staff and chefs and menu. Also do you honour the 2 for one graveleys special vouchers which are valid untill march 2013 ?

Absolutely love this restaurant. My husband and I go once a week! You can't fault the food and the service is impeccable. Staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome! I would recommend this restaraunt to everyone!! Once you've been once, there's no where else you'd rather go!

in my experience in restaurant world , the Medici venue has been a school and also (at a certain point) the very best restaurant in the world...you can not beleive the fine class, in its humble hard based work ...it's sad to see some bad review..but i'm sure there are an infinity of happy good memories..Medici have experienced very fine cuisine for long time...also a dynamic and fantastic service...and beleive me or not, sometimes it has been like live in a miracle...in 25 years of restaurant experience, I can surely declare it...there was some bad time too...don't get me wrong ..I can see it...anyhow hope the best can happen to all of you..

Hi, me and my husband had our wedding reception at Relish on 13/11/12. We were very dissapointed. We waited for 20 minutes until my husband had to approach a memebr of staff for us to be served. We had over 20 guests and I thought with bringing that many people to eat there that I thought that me and my husband might of got a free glass of wine.(because of us getting married). The only thing we was offered was one stamp and a loyalty card. We didnt even get a congratulations. The only thing that was to excellent standard was the food.

Great place to take little miss shes been a nandos baby from the start with the mouth watering flavours and hummy kids meals who could complain - fave spot is nandos the light leeds not only are the waiters kind and understanding - but they are very child friendly. big high 5ive from us guys keep up the good work. :)

Visited Marr Lodge on Sunday for a 70th Birthday lunch 16 adults and 4 children. Had carvery food spot on good choice. Staff friendly and very helpfull.

Been a regular since the previous landlord , this retreat is now spacious with tables to talk and drink with friends.Going to try the food soon as have had good reviews on varied menu. Also great varied music on saturday.

Not wanting to trek to the other side of Hull for a decent meal, we decided to give China Palace a try. As a first time visitor, we were pleasantly surprised! From walking in we were greeted like regular customers. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. From giving advice on the menu and wine, nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic and portions very generous. A bottle of wine was a very reasonable price unlike some venues. The friendly, young waiting staff were very attentive without being intrusive. We ate at a leisurely pace and didn't feel at all rushed. Although the place was full the service was superb! All in all an extremely enjoyable experience. Our only regret being that we hadn't tried China Palace before!! We will certainly be back and have recommended to all our family and friends!

Tried it out since it was friday and really enjoyed it worth the experience. the waiter/bartender was worth to talk to as we enjoyed his company, think the name is Parvez or something like that. The butter chicken and the mix kebab was worth the wait and overall experience was really good will recommend to anyone

We decided to visit Prashad at their new venue in Drighlington this lunch time, and also dine there. Mayur and Bobby Patel were there and Bobby very kindly showed us around the spacious new building with the sumptuous fittings and the very pleasing décor, all designed by the very talented Mayur. It is a brilliant creation making the whole place look spacious, airy, light and also very cosy. There is ample room for the diners to feel that they are in a relaxed, cosy and comfortable environment where they can enjoy their meal. Prashad has scored the Bull’s eye with the place and the whole concept. For our meal, we ordered Poppadoms, Bhel supreme, Utthapam, and the Manchurian Dumplings. The meal was exceptionally good. Well done Prashad for a smooth and successful transfer into your new surroundings. We realise that there was a lot of hard work involved. It has all paid off and the beautiful results are there for everyone to see, experience and enjoy. We are delighted that Prashad will continue to be our favourite, regular eating establishment in Bradford.

We visit Damon's every Friday and the food is excellent and the staff spot on.
