Damons – SheffieldNo Service , No Staff, No idea!!!.Christmas day ruined for 11 family members who had traveled as far as 800 miles to be there for a family occasion . When we arrived we were left for 45 mins before we were seated and then put on a table only suitable for 8 people, Which was squeezed into the corner of the room with access to leave only from one side, Should anybody wish to leave the table then everybody from that side of the table had to stand so the person could leave the table. We had to wait a further 15 mins before someone took our order for our starters even though we had been promised our own personal waitress ( this does not mean sharing with any other tables). Thirty mins later I had to ask where our starters were. As I was seated in the corner I did not return to the table as I did not want to disturb the party again , hence I did not have my starter.I spent the rest of 30 mins trying to locate a better table. Failing to do this I asked the waitress to clear the table so we could start our main course and then I decided as the waiting area emptied we would take several tables there as we were less crowded although we were not seated together this being the lesser of two evils.After we had eaten I had to track down a waitress to clear the table a second time and take our order for dessert, this arrived 45 mins later by then everyone was fed up as we had been there for two and half hours.Once dessert was over I had to track our waitress a third time to get our coffees which were suppose to arrive with mince pies which I had to get up again and request those again.The atmosphere had deteriorated with other parties dining at the restaurant who were experiencing the same problems that we were experiencing.Furthermore it is totally inappropriate for senior members of staff to argue with raised voices within ear shot of the entire restaurant and then complain to other diners about those customers.It was the worst experience we have ever had ,£500 pounds totally wasted . NEVER AGAIN at the PICKBURN ARMS, as many others will agree who attended for their special occasion.
Pickburn Arms – Doncasterthe casino decor is nice enuff, but its only ever busy on weekends. It takes too long to get past the reception becoz the self swipe card entry system is too slow, and if u ask any of the receptionists to enter you manually, then they are even slower. The valet service is the worst in the country -if n when u are lucky enuff to find a valet, they bring your hot drinks stone cold. the 200 seater card room has apparently shut down after just 1 month of its opening becoz of poor tournament structures. This must be the only casino in the world without a regular weekly poker schedule in its card room.
Genting Club Sheffield – SheffieldGreat food reasonably priced, efficient and friendly staff and great wine all served quickly and efficiently combine to make Zuccinis the best Italian Restaurant in the area. My partner and I first visited almost two years ago and now it has become our restaurant of choice for a relaxing meal or family celebration and never disappoints. The chefs signature dish Beef Wellington is a must order when it appears on the "specials board"
Zucchini Restaurant – BatleyWe visit Olivers at least once a fortnight. Fish and chips are excellent. Must mention also their home made ( secret recipe} meat pie . All food cooked fresh and delicious.

Lane Ends – BradfordI first went to the Kashmir when I was 18, I'm 68 now and still going whenever I visit Bradford - a 50-year love affair with the place and the standard of its meals. I especially love their Meat Madras. What more can I say? Forget all the fancy duded up Asian restaurants in Bradford, get down to the basement at the Kash and discover what a good curry is really all about!
Kashmir – BradfordThe New Inn, Walton Wakefield Yorkshire. Having undergone a complete refurbishment both internally and externally followed by an outstanding transformation to the menu, variety of choice offered on the daily specials and willingness to adapt or alter, one would have questioned what else could be done. A further visit saw the soft furnishings, drapes and both stunning yet subtle festive decorations. Presumably the intention to create a cosy and friendly ambience with first class service and beautiful food has not only been achieved but surpassed.
New Inn Walton – WakefieldGreat little pub with really nice staff,we had a very thick sirloin steak and a duck breast in a grand marnier sauce very good with lots of salad and vegetables well worth a visit

Red Chilli – YorkAnother fantastic meal at Mama Mia last night! Ive been going for the last 20 years and it just keeps getting better, amazing food, wonderful staff! Hats off to Brian, always on the ball pleasing the customers! I just love Mama Mia, any excuse to go, im there!! Bravo!
Mamma Mia – BradfordTook the family to Bankhouse again ,it's just had a refurb , It was smashing the decor is in keeping with it's old country pub history. Our meal was superb the children want to go again which is great .The staff where really welcoming and friendly. My wife wasmore than please with the excellant wine list , I sampled the beers .10 out 10 to Neil he has runs a smashing pib. Will be going back soon.
Bankhouse Inn – PudseyHave eaten here for on so many different occasions, for birthdays, christmas Do's anniversaries etc. and at least once a week just for a meal out with myself and my family, would have always recommended this pub as one to go to for service and value. Since my conversation with Mel, a so called manager of this establishment, i for one will never set foot through the doors again! what a rude, unhelpful, abrupt, aggressive, non apologetic poor excuse of a leader of people and the poorest of ambassadors for a good pub chain. i have estimated that over the last 2 years myself and family and friends in drinks and food have spent over £4k at this place alone, well, never again! If you want a Harvester meal, and if Mel, (she refuses to give her surname) is the manager, then pay a little extra and go to a different Harvester. I would rather starve
