Took family new years eve, very disappointing meal off the Xmas menu. Main course cold and not what 3 out of 4 of us had ordered. I have been going there a few years now and travel from Harrogate as I very much enjoyed the food. I complained and was fobbed off saying mistakes happen and offered a take away 2 take home. A very disappointing end of year family meal.
Westbourne Spice – OtleyI came to your restaurant yesterday for a meal with my family and disgusted with the service that we received. One of the women who we asked if the early bird menu was on said no, but the manner and in which she looked at us was very rude and ignorant. My partner and I both thought she was rude and we also felt that we were being rushed to finish our meal with the staff constantly looking at us as if to say finish your meal and get out. Also my 2 boys both had diarrhoea wh we got back and I have been sat on the toilet all day today, I was very disappointed with the service that we received. I can understand that yesterday was properly one of your busiest days but we still paid for it and expected a certain standard of service. Very disappointed with the standard of service. I will advise all my friends on social media to avoid your place because we expect a lot better.

Well I would like to give you my sincere appoligies for the comments I put down, I was well out of order. it was my mother in law what wanted me to put the comments on, and I am so sorry, we have been to your restarant many times for dinners, and we have enjoyed all that we have, mother in law as got terminal bladder cancer, and we just wanted to have a good xmas with her. but it dosent excuse the comments I put down about your restaurant. so I understand if you don't want us in your restarant again, we would love to go back there. so again I say I am very sorry for the upset. it is the first time we have gone out for xmas dinner, just wanted to do something different for mum in law. The Cobbler – PontefractWas first vist, a treat from family as they know how much I like caribbean food. Service was poor, but the food was hot and tasty, the non alcoholic drinks were very enjoyable. Will be going again.
Turtle Bay – Leeds City CentreFantastic looking pub, new interior. Sadly let down by expensive food and drink. Also good beers served poorly by inexperienced young staff. A pint of Black Sheep costs £3.80 and 2 halves £4.00 Why?
The Three Houses Inn – WakefieldI have been there many times, and love it. It is a great place for all the family to enjoy a fine dining with kind people and great waiters. The food is truly delicious, a real Italian dish, and the service is very quick so you won't be waiting ages! It may seem like just any old restaurant at first glance, but is isn't. It is a beautiful place to escape to Italy, right here in Leeds and if you don't go you WILL regret it.
Salvos – HeadingleyMy apologies I thought that the pub opened at 11. Would make sense to open earlier than 1 for lunch but at least post opening times on door. In fairness I have always found OEG to be a great pub.

Old English Gentleman – HullMy wife and I visited to redeem our Groupon voucher for an "afternoon cream tea" Booking was required; and was difficult to achieve. Having been given dates weeks away, when I phoned back, I was given dates, months away. I insisted that I already had available dates to consider and was booked in straight away. When we went, the place was almost empty: Our cream tea had no cream and looked nothing like the advertisement. The sandwiches were fresh and pleasant, the pieces of cake were no more than small bits of chocolate brownie or similar. Two desserts each in tall glasses; a chocolate mousse with bits of merengue and a so called trifle which comprised a bit of custard, very dry sponge and a couple of pieces of strawberry. A very disappointing experience. We will not go back.

Vermuyden Restaurant and Tea Rooms – ThorneWouldn't normally leave a review. However, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. Greasy, chewy fish didn't taste fresh, dry cold chips. Went there Saturday for the first time and you'd expect everything to be fresh on a busy day. Scruffy service, poor quality small fish, the peas were alright but I wasnt impressed ?

The Rythre Arms Steakhouse – TadcasterBoth my friend and I have been to the Hobbit over the last two weeks and being the only meal of the day we've both shared both of us had diarrhea within three hours of leaving on both occasions. The first time we'd put it down to a blip in the kitchen or bad supply of meat etc but for the same to happen the following week is not on so we'll be giving it a miss from now on which is a shame as we both like the place. Hey ho.
