I've been to this place a few times, though it's not the nearest chippy to me. Close roadside parking can be a little difficult at times.

We visited the Fleece for Sunday Lunch. The food service presentation was outstanding. We shall definitely return again soon.

Great food best Persian restaurant around !

Been here a few times the food is basic but good just don't expect a pudding after the main meal, we have now left twice without getting served with the sweet menu, they just simply forget.

Where to go on a rainy Bank Holiday weekend? On the basis that it was monsoon rain forecast for Lancashire we made a rare foray across the Pennines to Rudding Park near Harrogate. The in-laws had been earlier in the week and were singing its praises so we booked the day before and headed off on Bank Holiday Sunday. It’s a beautiful and imposing building set in a large estate and unsurprisingly is very popular for weddings. It’s also home to a couple of golf courses and attracts a lot of golf parties. The room was lovely – modern, spacious, underfloor heating in the bathroom with separate shower and rolltop bath. We snacked at lunchtime in the modern bar area then had the full a la carte evening meal in the Clocktower Restaurant. Excellent service (with many French staff), beautiful food and a well-lit room (naff restaurant lighting is one of my wife’s bugbears). You can mix and match between the set and a la carte menus and highlights included the woodpigeon kiev for starters, venison cutlet for the main and a steamed pud for dessert – plus a Yorkshire cheeseboard. A good choice of wines too. Breakfast next day in the conservatory area was nice too with views out over the grounds. They have a spa area currently but a new one is planned with a pool etc which will only add to the appeal. We’ll be back to check it out!

Four of us visited Sunday 29/4/16. We all considered that as previous visits, the food, (3 roast beef and 1 steak and mushroom pie lunches to be excellent, as were the starters and desserts that we all enjoyed. Would consider by far that Newsholme Manor to be the best for quality, quantity and price in the area. Hugh, Skipton

Our party are still waiting to hear from you about the Bad experience we had in Feb As we had bookrd for a table for 10 and aftr a mix up had to settle for 2 separate tables and it was a special birthday Miss M Cooper and mrs dDSnowden

Great food! Wicker St. has a number of Indian takeaways and sitins. I went to kebabish the first time with an Indian friend because everywhere else looked deathly quiet, but Kebabish seemed quite full. Good move! First thing my Indian friend said was that there were things on the menu he'd never seen outside of India. I was staying at a nearby hotel and liked the food so much it's the only place I've eaten. Portion sizes are good, have a starter and a main and you might struggle to finish it.My favourite is the chicken kebabs to start with (you get 4 and they come with a nice fresh salad) and Shahi Haleem - a dish made of lentils and minced lamb all blended to a thick sauce. The spicy version is well hot, really tasty. I've had other things there, tandoori chicken, masala fish, a few of the curries. The naans are good, in fact there's nothing I don't like about the place.

Awful, avoid. Ordered item (£7 value at that, not cheap!) didn't come; we got called liars when we called to complain and the guy refused to issue any kind of refund. He said delivering a new item would cost us money and would take half an hour. Terrible, terrible service, avoid at all costs.
