Prashad makes the best food I've ever eaten, not too hot but fantastic flavours. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I have been twice and it was just as good the second time round.

Prashad – BradfordSaw this place on Ramsey's best restaurants and being both a veggie and a massive fan of indian food I had to try it. Prashad does not disappoint, the service is wonderful, from calling up and booking to the moment you leave, it's very personable and relaxed. The food is stunning, I went with two friends and we shared everything we ordered, it was all beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and perfectly balanced flavour-wise. This will definitely not be my last visit and I will be taking any friends who come up to stay as it's only 20 minutes from where I live and parking was easy too. HIGHLY recommended!
Prashad – BradfordWow!! Being from 'Bratfud' originally, I'm used to curries, but eating here tonight was something else! From entering and to leaving, the service, food was 2nd to none!! I just wish my gorgeous girlfriend felt the same!! Unfortunately she's from 'Ull' and doesn't appreciate good, quality food when she tastes it!! If it hasn't got chips in it, she doesn't want to know!! I WILL defo be going back there, but with my friend next time. It was the best curry i've ever had!!! Keep up the good work!!
Prashad – BradfordMe and my wife got to know about this after we saw it on The Gordon Ramsey show. We are not vegetarians but we thought it would be good to try Prashad. I can say categorically we made the right choice, the service by the young guy was first class as was the food. me and my wife had the Special thali option and we thought the dish was presented well, all on one big platter. I would recommend as a starter the stuffed pepper filled with spicy mash potato. Oh i forgot the way the poppadoms come served is excellent. With a tip i paid £40 for a 3 course meal with drinks, definitely worth the 110 mile round trip, and we shall be going again.
Prashad – BradfordThis is not just Indian food - it is a taste adventure! In addition, the careful attention and homely welcome leave you feeling like you've stepped into another world - one much nicer than the one we live in. If Prashad doesn't win the title of Ramsay's Best Restaurant, there's no justice! Good luck on the 9th November!
Prashad – BradfordOne of our party was a committed meat eater and he certainly did not feel short-changed at Prashad. We went on Bobby's menu recommendations and were not disappointed. As a London girl who has visited the top Indian restaurants around the city I can tell you Prashad knocks spots off any of them! Don't tell the southerners!
Prashad – BradfordI follow a vegan diet and it is notoriously difficult to find half decent food whilst dining out. But not at Prashad! The food is fantastic and the service exceptional. What a friendly bunch! I defy anyone to go to Prashad and not enjoy it. I felt as though I was dining at a top Michelin restaurant with the quality of the food. Everyone at our table felt the same - and they are meat-eaters. This food will suit everyone, I can guarantee it. I can't believe my luck in discovering Prashad - AND I HAD NO IDEA THEY HAD BEEN ON THE T.V.!
Prashad – BradfordWe have just had a two week holiday 'at home' and have spent most of this time eating and drinking our way around Northern England! During this time we have covered most types of cuisine at highly recommended venues, including an excellent Michelin starred restaurant. Today at Prashad has been a massive highlight. The food was absolutely divine; we began with Poppadoms accompanied with a wonderful mixed pickle tray, and then took the recommendation of the mixed starter and special chaat (this being one of the most fantastic starter dishes we have ever tasted – don’t miss it!). For the main course we shared the Massala Dosa and Chole with Kichdi, both dishes being absolutely superb. The service was also beyond what you will find in 99% of restaurants, efficient and extremely knowledgeable but with an easy and friendly manner making this a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Kaushy coming out to talk to us and to see if we had enjoyed the food just topped it off when we thought it couldn’t have got any better! We live near to Chester and the 140 mile round trip was worth every minute spent travelling. Our only regret is that we don’t live close enough to be able to go back tomorrow! Don’t hesitate to check out this gem, my Husband is not vegetarian and has now said he may have been spoilt for wanting to eat anywhere else. Thanks to all at The Prashad for a fantastic experience, we will be back!
Prashad – BradfordJust returned from having had lunch at Prashad and felt compelled to write a review. From start to finish the whole experience was wonderful. The staff are so warm and welcoming. We had a great chat with one of the owners who was really interested in us and where we'd come from (Teesside) and was very keen to know how we had enjoyed the food. Well our reply was 'we loved it'. Can honestly say its the best Indian food we've ever tasted. It was so light and fresh, not like the usual heavy Indian fare you generally get served in the majority of curry houses. There was no sign of that oily film you see on most curries when they arrive at the table and the papadums were so crisp and dry with no hint of grease to be found. We shared the mixed platter to start with which gives you a real good mix of the individual starters on offer and needless to say they were fabulous. We then moved on to mains of massala dosa and a renghan and pea curry. The spicing and heat in both dishes was just right. With food this tasty who needs meat, it certainly wasn't missed by either of us. As a sign of how much we enjoyed the food, we ordered in the premises across the road a takeaway to remind us of how this kind of food really should be served and while we were there met Kaushy herself. This lady was as lovely as her food and we really enjoyed hearing about how she started the business up and what their plans are for the future. So don't take our word for it go yourselves and experience this wonderful restaurant, you really won't be disappointed.
Prashad – BradfordMy recommendation is to avoid at all costs. After waiting for more than an hour, the 'food' was finally delivered. Cold. Between four we got a pizza, a burger, a donner and a curry. The pizza and burger were ok but the curry and donner were barely edible. The food was cold and quite frankly disgusting. My chicken madras was oily chicken with little flavour - it could have been cat food in cheap vegetable oil. When we called to complain they were far from apologetic and used the excuse 'it's cold outside' when we commented on the food'. I would avoid at all costs.
Bigfellas – DewsburyVisited Golden Dragon last night (28/10/10) as first time diners. Strange entrance to the restaurant through a bar area (with a karaoke room which happily was unoccupied) and upstairs. First impressions were spacious and cold.... a bit too cold on an October evening in Yorkshire. Staff were friendly and helpful, made ammendments to a starter for me to make it vegetarian.... drinks were reasonable at £2.60 for a pint of carling (just as an example - not a recommendation) and £1.30 for a Diet Coke (which admittedly was a bit flat). Food was piping hot, really well cooked and very tasty. Lovely crunchy vegetables, king prawns cooked well and good sauces. Dare I say it.... even the chips were nice (sorry). We paid about £18 each and it was about right for the area and food.... I'll definitely go back there, but take an extra jumper!!
The Golden Dragon – EllandI can't praise the Aagrah enough. The food is so amazingly tasty; I dream about it! The staff are always most welcoming, helpful & friendly. If you've never been then give it a try & like me you're sure to become addicted. By the way I consider myself a real foodie & am not easily impressed,Wish I was there now!
Aagrah Restaurant – DoncasterFirst class food, vibrant modern decor, excellent friendly staff and Ash himself is a first class host with a very friendly approach to his clientele. I have gone there twice recently (I live in Mirfield) and will be going again very soon, it's THAT good! We have a lot of excellent Asian Restaurants in the area but Ashiq's is now my favourite. Oh and the buffet is excellent value for money and of very high quality both in choice and ingredients too!
Ashiqs Restaurant and Banqueting – DewsburyVisited here recently for my 30th birthday as a group of 5... had read the rave reviews about the food and also thought ideal location (close to station) Although our table was booked in advance we had to wait over 45 minutes to be seated so it was 9.45 before we made it to our table... we then found out they were dedicating their time to the whole cast of Emmerdale who were also dining there so we were actually on the verge of leaving because of the appalling waiting time and were kept waiting in the bar area...food eventually arrived at about 10.15 and I have to say we were so genuinely disheartened by the experience, it was a good job the food was worth the wait. Presentation was exquisite, original and food was tasty, although not the best pan Asian cuisine I have ever tasted. Overall, it was a good dining experience, due to the quality of the food, but service was very slow (probably due to circumstance of pandering to emmerdale cast, but nevertheless we were paying customers, and its not cheap!) which let it down for all of us on such a momentous occasion.
Chino Latino – Leeds City CentreWhat a fabulous little gem of a restaurant this is tucked away in Bradford. It's a very small place with seating for just 22 people so booking is essential. Turn up without a booking and you will be turned away! And you will miss some of the most stunning Indian food in the country. The family who own the restaurant say they cook from the heart and it is plain by the subtle and wonderful tasting food to see why they make that claim! Their menu is so different from any other "curry house" and they have a choice of "roadside snacks" like you would find on street corners in India. Recommended dishes are the Mixed Starter, Special Chaat, Potato Bataka, Chole, Paneer Massala and their wonderful fresh Dosa's which I have never seen in any restaurant before! With the success of this restaurant on the recent Gordon Ramsay program it is packed out but the food is some of the most sumptuous, stunning and tasty Indian food you will eat and the service and attention from the staff second to none! The cook even comes out for a chat to see if everything is okay and you have enjoyed the food. Don't take my word for it, get yourselves down and give it a try! A wonderful experience!
Prashad – BradfordGreat atmosphere, lovely food. Loving the blankets for those sat out side, very warm and Cosy with lots of heaters. Staff give just the right amount of attention too. Highly recommended will go again soon.
Lucia Wine Bar & Grill – BeverleyThis hotel does not offer a early bird menu, partner had mixed grill which came out part raw, i had stroganoff which tasted like a korma. It was very expensive and the service was rubbish.
Woodlands Hotel – BradfordLovely food. The bed was excellent, best ever, but could you give me the name etc. of the pillows please? I have bought lots and lots of pillows but never found any as perfect as those I slept on in your accommodation on 16th. October. I was with the Salvation Army Disabled people Group. God bless, Jeanny.
