This place is fantastic, the food is great and their wine selection is really good too! The food is really authentic and absolutely well worth it. Really love this place, you can tell it is run by passionate people who take pleasure out of what they do which makes a welcome change these days!

The rythre arms is the best steakhouse I've ever eaten in. Having lived in London for the past 4 years I stll haven't found anywhere that comes close, even travelling the USA nothing compares. The staff are all friendly, the host is welcoming and always comes over for a chat. It's a friendly place that I always look forward to returning to. I really can't speak highly enough of the place, I would recommend the carpetbagger to anyone. And the onion rings are to die for!!!

Friendly, welcoming atmosphere with good attention to detail. Without doubt the best steaks in the world and with an excellent wine list to match. There is something for everyone on the menu but you must try the steak, my sirloin was cooked to perfection. Treat yourself.

Don't go here - it's horrible food, the staff are rude and it's expensive.

Would heartily recommend a visit to Toast in the centre of Leeds. We called in this weekend and enjoyed the most wonderful Sunday lunch. They had a really varied menu but we stuck to the traditional beef and Yorkshire puddings with a sweet potato mash which was incredible. It was really busy and lively which we didn’t expect in the centre of Leeds on a Sunday, and the staff and service were excellent! Well worth a visit.

Surprised to read reviews of warm welcome and coal fires - we went Tuesday evening in rain and wind and it was too cold in the pub for my wife to even take her coat off, there were no fires . The food is very expensive for very mediocre quality (£10.95 for steak & ale pie!). The landlord was holding court to a bunch of locals at the bar and swearing loudly. At the end of the evening he gave us a flyer saying they had taken over the Cragrats Brasserie - on this showing it will be closed in weeks.

Fantastic food, authentic atmosphere staff were great, highly recommend RICE for enjoyable night of good food!!

Desi Masala is now well established in the centre of Morley, Leeds. Only small but everyone is welcome and everyone will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. Excellent quality, excellent value. Plus, take your own drink. What more could you want ? This place is a must if you love a curry.

We came across this restaurant by accident when walking back to our (very disappointing) hotel in Harrogate. This was the highlight of the weekend though; fantastic quality food with a real taste of Italy, as opposed to the usual cheap anglo/american version of the food. The cheese on the pizzas was real mozzarella (can't eat cows milk) so a fantastic find for me! A wonderful atmosphere, fantastically attentive staff and real attention to detail. Can't praise it enough.

My girlfriend and I had driven past Rinaldis many times on the way to the nearby Asda and we thought we'd give it a go today. The place does not look amazing from the outside but it's a pleasant surprise on entering with its well presented interior and friendly atmosphere. The waiters are attentive but non intrusive and smiley and helpful. The food was great and very reasonably priced and we will be going back again for a bottle of red sometime.

didn't know anyone who had been to Thai on the Square, and from the outside it doesn't look that special so it's hard to know what to expect. There is a little entrance from the street and you go up some stairs so can't see from the street. The restaurant is modern and attractive and the food was amazing. Prices are reasonable too. I've recommended this to a few people and would definitely go back

The food at The Brompton Forge has always been very good but on this visit was even better ,flavoursome and interesting,well presented with excellent service. WE WOULD RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO EVERYONE.

I am not a vegetarian. I came here with four friends. Although it was a Tuesday evening, the restaurant was very busy. Not being used to the menu, my friends suggested that I try the Special Thali as it would give me an introduction to a complete Indian vegetarian meal. It was a very good choice as it consisted of a starter, a main meal and a dessert. The aubergine fritter was a revelation to me. The main meal consisted of two different curries served with a lentil-flavoured rice. The dessert was a mouth-tingling yogurt dish. I hadn't realised that Indian Vegetarian Cuisine could be so varied and imaginative. The best part was that the cost of the meal was very reasonable. I shall certainly be back here again to dine. I am planning a visit to South India early next year and now that I am introduced to Indian Vegetarian cooking I shall certainly look forward to sampling more Indian vegetarian dishes. Thank you Prashad for a most enjoyable evening.

I've been to Parshads many times now and I have never been disappointed with the food. It is some of the best I have ever eaten and everyone that I have taken there has said the same. The beauty of the food is that it is light and flavoursome and nutritious. Do not miss the dahi puri or the pethis. They are Sublime.

Recently opened Arkaan's is based in the former Windmill pub on the Doncaster Road between Crofton and Nostell Priory and has been tastefully refurbished into a value-for-money modern Indian Restaurant. We early on a Friday, which was a good thing, as we were told that they were fully booked from 7pm onwards. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was superb - we had chicken pakora, chicken dopiaza, garlic naan and coffee. The price for 2 people - good value at £23. It has no licence to sell alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own. Payments by cash only. I was very impressed by my first visit and hope to make Arkaan's a regular haunt.

I recently enjoyed a very good lunch at Korks for only £7.95!!! They are providing 2 courses from their extensive menu for only £7.95. This has to be the greatest bargain in the country right now and is well worth taking advantage of. For £7.95 I expected a carvery or some boil in the bag food that one normally associates with family inns, no such thing here. Korks food is Good Food Guide standard, they have a new chef and this offer is brilliant value. I enjoyed a starter of a Black pudding fritter with apple sauce which was very enjoyable, followed by Market Fish pie, which was brim full of pieces of fish and topped with a cheesey crust - absolutely delish! This offer needs to be celebrated and congratulated, tell all your friends, I am already.

unpretentious neighbourhood restaurant dont go anywhere else simply middlesbrough's only restaurant worth going too.
