We visited the Sweet Centre in November and were thoroughly impressed with the service, the quality and the whole experience. The food was fantastic, and exactly to my taste ! this is a genuine, authentic Asian Restaurant and superb value for money - NB the Sweet Centre does not have an alcohol license, but they will not be offended if you bring your own.

I work at fox house's, Vegetables prepared 1 week before not fresh, Food dropped on floor and put on plates, Staff are very impatient, And talk about customers whilst eating. Chefs are rude cheeky and unclean. The pot washers, don't clean the knifes and forks properly, or plates. The food is reasonably priced, But from knowing what I do now, I wouldn't eat there again, The sweets are made from left over stock. and out of date products, I have heard about problems about the alcohol when staff are talking, But can't elaborate anymore because i don't know, The chips that are not eaten by customers are saved and served again, Like vegetables that ain't eaten. I'm very poorly treat by my boss Tracy, and other staff. The place isn't properly cleaned with the correct equipment, The kitchen utensils are cleaned with incorrect chemicals. The kitchen floor is cleaned with mucky water & mop.

Regent Fisheries serves the tastiest fish and chips that I know of in this area. Portions are generous, with the fish and its batter cooked to perfection. No greasy, soggy chips here as they are also cooked to the same high standard. The only downside is that the shop is closed all day Monday and has shorter opening hours than others in the ares.

The Royal Spice always comes up trumps, regardless of whether you eat in or take away. I hate curry made for the Brits ie: lacking in heat, spice and authenticity - the food at the Royal delivers on all counts. Try the Fish Karahi dish - amazing.

VEGETARIANS BEWARE. A nasty environment. Packing them in, and giving very very bad service. I ordered a vegetable curry, and got bits of meat in my very small curry. Looked like they had just cooked it with the rest and picked out the meat. Without doubt the very worst restaurant I have ever eaten in in the UK. Seriously shocking! Avoid!

Don't waste your money. Over priced run of the mill Chinese fodder. Service was atrocious, would not bring drinks to the table and starter took 90 minutes to be served!!! They then had the cheek to add a 10percent service charge. Seriously, go somewhere else tampopo is better value for money and better food.

Came here for our office Christmas party. Service was excellent, food was exquisite - I would have paid double for the cheese and mushroom quesadillas in particular, but the chicken fajitas and Ipanema mess were also delicious. Will definitely be dragging my husband here.

I love going here as it's an easy going and relaxed place that doesn't mind our children sometimes being ... well ... children! The staff are very helpful and cheery, and the food is fantastic ... and plenty of it too!! I'm going back again next week :-)

A friend re-introduced me to this place (which used to be called 2828 and/or the Academy). It had gone downhill when I last visited a few years ago. Not now. It has been modernised throughout. The staff and management are courteous and friendly. The food is all perfectly done and such a massive choice! The buffet is astounding value, as is the Mongolian buffet where you choose your meat/fish/veg raw and it is wok-cooked in front of you in a sauce/style of your choice. Just compare the price with what you'd spend on a typical Chinese takeaway. For my money, it's a better spot than No.1 and other buffets I've tried.

This is one of the finest Chinese restaurants is Yorkshire in my opinion. I had heard it had re opened and i have to say it is better than ever. The food was first class & service was fantastic, would recommend this Restaurant to everyone, absolutely superb! I am now booking for Christmas. Many thanks all at Red Pepper.

I visited the Foxhouse Inn with my mum, and we had a Christmas lunch. It was the best Christmas meal i have had in a long time at a pub/restaurant!!!! The starters were varied, myself having the soup of the day, which was just enough with warm buttered bread rolls...for main we both had Turkey Dinner, the best tasting turkey i have had! Generous amounts of meat, stuffing , gravy, cranberry sauce , potatoes & veggies....plus a Chritsmas cracker!!!! For dessert we chose the Black Forest Gateau, lots of double cream & a fantastic portion.....then a cup of tea & mince pie for afters!!!!!!! Fantastic meal, worth the value , excellent service. will be going quite often, would recommend to any one ..who likes quality. good service, good food and a warm atmosphere!!!! 11/10!!!

I have visited this pub on several occasions and could not, in all honesty recommend it unless the diner likes lots of deep fried foods or limp salads. The last time I called in, mum had her lunch of mixed deep fried fish platter, limp salad and tartare sauce and I didn't eat and am glad that I didn't. It does get very busy - so must be more than acceptable to most palates - just not to mine or my husbands

Went to Zouk last week to celebrate my little daughters birthday. Just wanted to say thank you to all the staff for fantastic evening!!!! Everything was up to the usual standards food to die for, atmosphere fantastic and staff so attentive and friendly. My daughter absolutely loved it!!!! As so did we!!! Going there this weekend again with relatives who are coming all the way from York to repeat a brilliant experience X

BC Buffet..... One word, EXCELLENT!! Excellent Food, Excellent value, Excellent service, All round Excellent experience!

I would recommend the blossom rolls, fantastic starter! friendly staff and atmosphere, I have been here on a few occasions and never had a bad meal.

If you are reading this and are not sure whether to try Polash or not, do not hesitate, the food and service is fantastic. We have been to A LOT of indian restaurants and this is one of our favourites. Great food, great service and a great atmosphere, visit Polash and I'm sure you'll become a regular!

I live in Nottinghamshire and a visit to my daughter's in Leeds is not complete unless we have been to Polash. Great place, welcoming staff and, most importantly, fantastic food. Wish I lived closer!

I've eaten at many Indian restaurants over the years, but sonali is the one I return to time and time again. The food is second to none. The staff are friendly and attentive without being in your face all the time. Their takeaway on Kirkgate 'Cottage of India' is also well worth a visit.
