Been going here for about 12yrs would not go any where else the food is superb and the staff are so friendly nothing is to much trouble going new years eve cant wait !!

This year I had 3 birthday parties here(69th)one with friends,one with my dance pupils and one with my family,all in the same week.I was treated like a Queen on all 3 occasions.All my family and friends visit on a regular basis as the food,service and prices are top marks.It will be my 70th next year and cannot wait to celebrate again with these lovely people.Thank you especially to Marcus and the very handsome young men who came to my table and sang "happy birthday",love to all and a Happy New Year xx

I would just like to say Sue and Goling are the most wonderfully kind and lovely people. I frequent the restaurant and the food is fantastic, reasonably priced and always so fresh and tasty It is a pleasure to give them a little of my time as they so deserve this recognition of their hard work. I regularly get take aways and also go on a lunchtime when Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays the charge is a small amount of £6.00 . Starter Main Course, desert and coffee Fabulous

We have been to the Royal Spice loads of times and it has never let us down. Zaff and his staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the prices very reasonable. Thank goodness we live in Darton.

This is definitely the best Chinese restaurant we and our family and friends have visited. We are now regulars there. Very friendly and good service and the food is to die for!! £12 eat as much as you like from a very large menu, all cooked immediately from your order.Free complimentary roast duck with pancakes. You will love it!!

Straightforward, honest fish and chip restaurant with some additional specials. Fish always cooked beautifully with light tasty batter. You can have grilled fish and new potatoes if avoiding fried food. The service is unfailingly friendly and efficient. Wine and beer is available, but nothing can be better with fish and chips than a lovely pot of tea and some slices of mixed bread and butter. Been many times and never disappointed.

Visited this pub twice in Nov/Dec 2009 and had budget tea menu in Nov which was really good quality to say we were eating at 18.30hrs with our kids - incidentally the kids menu, especially the home made chicken nuggets are really good! - my other half had lamb which was really good. Cost wise a little more that the average pub grub - say 20% ave - but well worth it so much so we are going again later this afternoon - cant say anymore than that really - highly recommended

I love to be adventurous and try new fish. My partner enjoys sticking to the tried and tested specials or lashing out on skate wings. Both of us are equally satisfied at the Magpie. On a cold November night, after a mere 5 minutes wait, we were seated and the order taken quickly. My grilled turbot [first experience, and priced by weight] was delicious especially served with lemon and chive sauce and a platter of vegetables. Can't wait to go back.

Was up in Doncaster recently visiting a friend and was taken to this restaurant for a meal. Absolutely fantastic. A perfect evening out. I had their meatball dish which is apparently one of their specialities and to me was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant, warm, friendly, attentive service and great food.

We used to go to this restaurant four or five times a month, regularly taking friends or family. Sully runs a good place but over the last 6 months, standards, quality and notably quantity deteriorated as prices increased. The final straw for me was a starter portion of samosas - they were they miniature buffet size (two on plate with a bit of lettuce) for £2.95 (20 for a quid in Asda). When I queried it, the waiter smiled and shrugged his shoulders. Now go to Al-Nawab on Huddersfield Road where staff, food and service are significantly better.

Londoner visits khailash with parents regularly when in doncaster.The food is outstanding,atmosphere is sound and staffs are most professional, rate them 5 out of 5, it makes me want to visit parents every weekend(an excuse) to Kailash's meal.Lucky Donny people right on their doorstep.

I could not recommend this restaurant, they failed to deliver at every level, poor service and very disappointing food. And they handled my compliant in and unsatisfactory way, and then when I was offered a "full refund" 25% was witheld. Food that is not hot, mostly just warm, undercooked, dry meat, pretty awfull Christmas pudding, and being told to go downstairs to get myself a bottle of carbonated water ! Smart interior, but they didn`t deliver ...

Have dined several times and never been disappointed. The rack of ribs are delicious. Free salad bar available.

The White House Pub is my recommended choice as it offers all to the diner or drinker.It has a good atmosphere & is very relaxing.The staff are helpful & friendly & you can get all varieties of food.I had a very good fillet steak recently

A lovely pub. Good food, wine and friendly staff.. Perhaps the could give the awful Harewood Arms a few lessons in how to run a decent pub.
