China Palace – BridlingtonI am totally impressed with the quality of the food served at Barinda, the ingredients are fresh and the service is excellent. The surroundings are also very up market and stylish without feeling uncomfortable. It is always great value for money, for anybody who appreciates a gourmet taste this is the place to be, the mid week offers are amazing value for money.during these credit crunch times.
Barinda Restaurant – Hullafter deciding to eat out on Friday 22/01/10 at the black bull midgley i must stress how disappointed we was at the service and quality of food on offer there.we ordered our starter which was supposed to be homemade wild mushroom soup and 20 minutes later we got two dishes of what i can only describe as pond water with a few bits of dark stuff in it which was trying to pass as mushrooms that soup as never seen homemade it was just add water. after our plates was cleared we was still waiting 40 minutes later for our main course which was a supposed to be a steak and a sweet and sour chicken. at this point my husband was getting a bit impatient about waiting so long as there was only twelve people in the pub which i found hard to believe on a Friday night at that particular pub,he approached the bar to ask when our meal was to be served as he did so a pint of larger and a glass of wine was ordered the landlord as i now know him as was not happy with the cleanliness of the glass so he decided to wipe it on his shirt then continued to pour the wine this was the same shirt he was wearing to clear the dirty plates away in how disgusting is that. my husband asked how long our meal would be and the man just kept saying they was busy and it wouldn't be long after a short while 40 mins after our soup the man came out with our main courses when i pointed out to him that i thought the service was very poor and that homemade soup was out of a packet and not fresh he just kept saying they was busy i also pointed out that there was only twelve people in the pub and i was a cook he just turned and walked away no apologies or anything then when i looked at my food i noticed that my sweet and sour sauce was probably out of a jar aswell we have had many a meal out and have never had to complain before until now i do hope that this respond will be helpful in the future and i will not be recommending this pub to anyone whatsoever we was still talking about it on the sunday and will be telling everyone at work on monday about our bad experience there. also the landlord needs to go on basic health and hygiene course and an up selling course to encourage good custom and not bad as he is getting now as all the good comments was from 2008 not recent didnt he have the pub then.

Panda – StokesleyThese are absolutely the best fish & chips in Yorkshire. My family & I have been many times over the past few years and the standard and quality never falters. The staff are always very pleasant & helpful and the service speedy & efficient. There is frequently a queue but it always moves pretty quickly and its well worth waiting for (there are bar stools for those who cannot stand for long). My mum finds the pensioners special meal fantastic value, 3 courses, tea, bread & butter, which would satisfy even the most ravenous person.

Rico’s – RoundhayCalled in this pub on a whim, never looked back, I live four miles away and have made this my local. The staff and customers contribute to the great atmosphere especially at weekends when its busy. Doesn't do food any more but the beer more than makes up for it, its traditional sam smiths and only £1.39 a pint, can't go wrong.
Waggon and Horses – WakefieldI come to Zouk quite a lot and every single time i really enjoy my dining experience here. They cook some wonderful food like chicken livers (i have it every time we come). Favourite main is chicken and spinach but this time i had chicken tikka masala and it was really good. And lets not forget to mention their staff too - always friendly and attentive every time they make us feel really welcome. Would highly recommend to anyone!
Zouk Tea Bar – BradfordI absolutely love this restaurant. Great food-staff are very friendly.Situated in a lovely place, the decor is very classy! and love the water fountain outside. I always use this restaurant when i have a special occasion. And planning to use it again in the near future.
Medici Restaurant – HullI have been here several times now and am always impressed by the food - the duck and mango bento box and the ginger and lime cheesecake are particular favourites, as is the plum wine. This time I tried a sushi starter and also found it delicious. The service was excellent - one of our group arrived just before the main courses reached us and yet she was still served quickly enough for her to finish eating at the same time as us. Always a pleasure.
Little Tokyo – Leeds City CentrePersuaded my husband to come here with a 2 for 1 deal on main courses. We had three tapas to start - meatballs, peri-peri chicken and mushroom quesadillas, all of which were delicious. This was followed by duck fajitas, the Buenos Aires burger and a mango cheesecake, all excellent. The service was a little slow but the staff were helpful, even to the point of replacing my plate of tortillas when a drink got spilled into it. Well worth visiting and will continue to do so.
