My Mum introduced my husband and I to dining at Alfe's and now it has become a firm favourite whenever we want to take friends out or our children. Alfe's also catered for my husbands birthday and we have nothing but praise for the fantastic food, service and beautiful decor.
Alfe’s Restaurant – KeighleyReally great place to eat out for a special event. Amazing food - interesting decor (felt like I was in a farm house but liked the rustic look). Staff were great as well. Nice location as well - lots of cafe/bars around to go before or after.
Boars Nest – HullI keep finding better restaurants and better food than the Bon Viveur but once you've recommended them to a few people, they seem to loose it. The Bon Viveur is still an excellent restaurant with a very personal touch and is the only one I will confidently recommend. And compared with some of the places pretending to be high standards, it's cheap as chips.
The Bon – GarforthThe staff were warm and friendly. The service was prompt even though it was a saturday night. The food was very good, the steak cooked just as we liked. The sauces were delicious. The wine was very good. All of our party enjoyed their meals, including the vegetarians amongst us! Will certainly call again.
Il Bacio – RotherhamFantastic food, service and surroundings. Went to a themed Spanish night on a Saturday. Very busy but not too crammed in. Felt very authentic, relaxed and we had a thoroughly fantastic night.
Latinos – BarnsleyFood was good but the room was narrow and the walls felt very close (it was two table width). My choice for lunch but not an evening meal.(Each to his/her own!) Staff attentive and very helpful. Does serve good food - even oysters!
Monkman’s Wine Bar & Restaurant – Ilkleythe fish dish was the best. All the food was excellent and there were no complaints whatsoever. Service was extremely good. Food arrived on time at just the right temperature. For two of us the bill came to around 18 pounds. I even gave them a tip,

Balti House – Wakefieldi was impressed to see they were serving fresh locally caught haddock, cooked in traditional beef dripping. this is probably why they were the nicest fish and chips i have had the pleasure of eating in years. i was surprised to find that there was baby changing facilities in the gents toilets which i thought was a bonus(well done).
Restaurant 55 – Scarboroughwe tried this restaurant on other viewers recommendations and we were not disappointed! we tried the Sunday lunch buffet special and the food was really lovely! and there was loads of dishes to choose from! i am not a sweet toothed person but i was pleasantly surprised by the thai custard something i would not have tried had we eaten from the a la carte menu! yes i would return in the future and would recommend it rate 9 out of 10
Chaophraya – Leeds City Centrewhat can I say its a fantastic little tapas bar enjoyed every minute of it the staff are very very helpful and the food is the best just allow about an hour wait for a table on a Saturday night if more than 2 people but well worth the wait loved it
