Cheikhos Restaurant – LeicesterTook my family here for Sunday lunch. The food was great, the service was great and for the most part I thought the prices were inline with how all food everywhere seems to have increased in price over recent years. Only complaint is that the cost of the sides compared to the small portion size, seemed a little excessive.
The Bricklayers – HinckleyAlways a warm welcome from Ben. The geat food, attentive service and pleasant ambiance make it a lovely dining experience.
Cheikhos Restaurant – LeicesterExcellent! Great food and good service!
Cheikhos Restaurant – LeicesterLovely food, great atmosphere - not our first visit and won't be our last
The Bricklayers – HinckleyWarm welcome, efficient service & excellent food. Would definitely go again.
The Bricklayers – HinckleyFood is always fabulous at Cheikhos, couldn’t ask for better! Amazing value for money.
Cheikhos Restaurant – LutterworthExcellent freshly cooked food. I really can’t fault it. Service is also good and attentive. I can’t understand why it’s not packed to the hilt every night. The best restaurant around here by far!
Cheikhos Restaurant – LutterworthMy 4th visit here and wonderful reception by front of house who is always welcoming, attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Food has always been excellent, but my friend had Fillet steak this time, wasn't over the moon with it, but not the Chef's fault, they can't see inside it. If it was me I may have mentioned it in a quiet word, but my friend didn't wish too. That would not at all put us off returning as foood is excellent and exceptional value.
Cheikhos Restaurant – LeicesterI booked a table for 4 and our table was in the restaurant. Within 20 minutes a large party of mostly gentlemen arrived. They were incredibly loud and boisterous and obviously partially inebriated so we asked to move. We were swiftly followed by two further tables who asked to move. That’s three tables wanting to move and who moved! We were moved and the food etc was good. When we went to pay, I commented about the noisy party but was told that they’d spent £400 in the restaurant. I bit my tongue. So what. You let one party effectively ruin the experience of other diners because they were drunk, loud and had spent money. I’m afraid the response should have been, I’m sorry and they will be told about their behaviour and noise. Poor on behalf of the staff. Spoiled a nice evening out with friends
The Bricklayers – HinckleyGreat meal. Shame about the noisy crowd of diners that caused three tables to request a move! (All did move) When I spoke to the manager at the end of our meal he justified their presence by telling me they’d paid over £400 in the pub! I had to bite my tongue as I was so disappointed with this response. They caused three tables to move and they were so loud you could barely hear each other at the table. Money being spent should never trump the dining experience of others. They should have been told to quieten down or leave. Shame as this is one of my favourite pubs for lunch and evening meals. I expected better from the staff.
The Bricklayers – HinckleyAmazing evening. Excellent food and service could not be topped.
Cheikhos Restaurant – LeicesterTable for 2 on Friday we had the fish and chips the food was really good it was cooked well and came out hot. The staff were exceptional, happy to help and willing to go that little bit extra to make our visit as pleasant as possible. Really enjoyed it
The Bricklayers – HinckleyA lovely evening at Cheikho’s. We were staying in Oadby for the weekend and booked a table, not knowing the restaurant or what to expect. We were so impressed! Very friendly welcome , fantastic food and amazing value for money. Highly recommend!

Cheikhos Restaurant – LeicesterA lovely evening for my partner's birthday. The food was great and very good value, The service was fabulous, although the restaurant was busy we were really well looked after. This was our first visit but will not be our last.
Cheikhos Restaurant – LeicesterFirst visit to the pub. Staff very friendly. Slightly disappointed with the food. I ordered the lamb shank, it was alright but a bit light on the vegetables and there was more bone than meat so, not worth the price . Ordered 2 desserts but one of them couldn't be found so just went for the one dessert. Ordered the sticky toffee pudding which was nice but it was only luke warm.
The Bricklayers – HinckleySecond visit to the Bricklayers and both times it was a great experience. A friendly greeting as you come through the door. Meals are hearty and delicious. The menu is quite comprehensive for anyone who is gluten free, myself included . Will definitely be back.
