Prices have shot up and kid service has gone downhill. We have been going to eat at this pub for the last 4 years and it used to be fantastic.

The Man At Arms – LutterworthExcellent food, great service, lovely staff food excellent .
The Man At Arms – LutterworthWe were welcomed by a very pleasant member of staff who told us the rules. We did feel a bit close to other tables and it did get busy. Two starters out of 4 came then there was a long wait for the other 2 then they came with 1 mains which we sent back Then we asked to make sure all mains came together which did happen but the food was not very hot and the mains that had been out earlier had been warmed through so a little disappointed .
The Man At Arms – LutterworthWhere do I start we ordered the starter a mix kebab and 4 pieces were on the sizzler. One chicken 2 lamb pieces and a kebab. The lamb was extremely chewy as was the chicken there was too much food colouring. If anything the food felt like it was re heated leftovers. We ordered popadoms but the waiter decided to take them before we had finished. The chicken curry was decent and the panned tikka was too sweet. Do not recommend at all.
Cafe Mash – LoughboroughBrilliant service fab food , just excellent. I highly recommend to eat here and the staff are so friendly and polite.
The Lancaster Arms – LeicesterAmazing staff, food was delicious, very welcoming, quick and efficient service!
The Man At Arms – LutterworthFood was amazing, brilliant service very welcoming. Highly recommend.
The Lancaster Arms – LeicesterEnjoyed the food but a couple of points to be made. with a chef special main course I would expect more veg than mashed potato and green beans of which my partner had twice as many as me. Also there was far too much gravy, with the food swimming in it. It was very tasty minty gravy. presentation not really up to scratch.
The Man At Arms – LutterworthGreat food, friendly and attentive staff, lovely heated outdoor area for dining.
The Lancaster Arms – LeicesterTry the restaurant for the first time Friday night and found it very safe. Lot of choice on the menu. Food and service was very good. Definitely will be returning soon.
Cheikhos Restaurant – LutterworthHad a great safe evening, staff were very helpful and friendly, food was amazing.
The Man At Arms – LutterworthMyself family & friends have been dining here for around 2 decades. Always enjoyed the meal and continued buying meat & products when restaurants were closed. Always, that is until last Thursday. Booked a table for 4 for wife & I plus son and daughter-in-law who live with us. Daughter and 2 toddler children, who complete our bubble, booked a table for 3. On arrival I asked if the 2 tables could be close.....No, because there's 7 of you Ok, forget being close, just 2 tables then......No, cant do it. Its the law What! You can't find us 2 tables anywhere here........No. Its the law My daughter said she would go home and left, before I could recover and wished we had all left. He then insisted payment be by app & moved 2 tables together even though we had said we were happy with separate tables For the record, Man at Arms, the law is: no one must mix indoors in groups larger than 6, unless you all live together, or are in the same support bubble. This includes in: pubs and restaurants It takes years to build goodwill but only an instant to lose it
The Man At Arms – LutterworthWe had a fantastic meal and the staff were very friendly. 10/10.
The Old Red Lion – Market HarboroughPerfect Steak as always! Excellent service as always!
The Cedars – LeicesterFirstly I have been to this restaurant 2/3 times in the past and everything has been great however last night not so great... when we walked in the staff basically ignored us, then while I was eating my starter the main came out way before finishing, then I asked for ketchup and napkins which never came so I had to ask twice by that time my food was cold, they forgot my bacon in my burger which got brought out separately, they didn’t ask us if we wanted desert I had to get up to find someone to pay the bill even know this is against restrictions, there was no QR code to track and trace no wonder they made us start a tab straight away poor service let the food down.
The Old Red Lion – Market HarboroughI cant recommend The Lancaster highly enough. What Ian and his team has achieved when faced with adversity is just amazing. His vision and passion is both seen and felt when you enter this 'magical' environment. You will not feel safer anywhere in these trying times. So, book your table and enjoy a truly lovely evening.
The Lancaster Arms – LeicesterExcellent food and service. Very quìet sadly probably due to covid
The Man At Arms – LutterworthSadly not up to your usual standard. Steak was a bit dry and not nearly as succulent as usual.
