The Old Red Lion – Market HarboroughAbsolutely lovely food everytime we visit. Staff very friendly.
The Man At Arms – LutterworthWent for a meal for my mums 50th, unfortunately we won’t be returning! Food was awful, chips looked like they had been fried several times, as well as other components to our meals! No one ate all of their meal as it wasn’t good and that isn’t like my family! On the upside, the staff were friendly!
The Old Red Lion – Market HarboroughWe are regular customers. The food is not Michelin standard but it is very good and certainly brings us back for more. Combined with the cheerful and efficient service in a pleasant ambiance we consider it all round good value. The restaurant is coping very well an safely with the Covid restrictions.
Cheikhos Restaurant – Leicesterservice was great, friendly, helpful staff. Took a birthday cake for my daughter's birthday and they brought it out with the candles and sang happy birthday to her . Food was lovely great portions and quality. Would recommend
The Old Red Lion – Market HarboroughWe try and dine at the Man At Arms as often as finances permit. The food is always good and the meal deals, especially the two steaks and a bottle of wine for £18.99, are a bargain. Special mention to Brad who works primarily behind the bar, but takes on all roles, from meal service to sterilising surfaces, to keeping the fire going in winter.
The Man At Arms – LutterworthI was introduced to this pub by my partner, was our first dinner date and it’s become a special place for us. Service is second to none, food is lovely. We had the steaks and I would rate it very highly. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a lovely meal, in a lovely setting.
The Old Red Lion – Market HarboroughAs always excellent food and good service like the proper man portions
The Man At Arms – LutterworthA very charming restaurant, friendly service and excellent food.
Cheikhos Restaurant – LeicesterBooked last minute and table available. Easy to book online. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food was beautiful. Two King Henry’s cooked to perfection, one sirloin which was tasty and a tower burger for my youngest. The food was fabulous and the kids could not resist a dessert. Fabulous choice of puddings. Only complaint I had was that it was freezing in there. I know they have to keep the area well ventilated due to Covid guidelines but it was so cold and draughty that I had to put a blanket on my daughter so she could eat her dinner! Will definitely return but will wear jumpers next time!!
The Old Red Lion – Market HarboroughI always enjoy my visits to The Cedars because the food is excellent and the service and welcome very good.
The Cedars – LeicesterI booked the table online. On arrival, we were greeted by The Manager who was extremely helpful, checked our details and showed us to our table. The food was excellent and the staff very helpful. Great value for money and plenty of space for social distancing etc. I would recommend this venue to anyone
The Cedars – LeicesterWe came for lunch, the first time here since Covid. They handled it all very well, we felt quite safe and had a nice seat overlooking the fishpond. The service, quality of food and general atmosphere of the pub were all good. Well done.
The Cedars – LeicesterFood was wonderful - fresh, tasty and well presented. Great menu - so many choices Customer service - instant meet and greet, personalised and attentive Thank you - will see you again
The Lancaster Arms – Leicester3 out of 4 meals were ok. 4th meal was like something from An Iceland freezer. Soggy curly fries no meat on ribs just gristle and when mentioned was practically dismissed. Not great
The Cedars – LeicesterPerfect evening as always. Lovely food and great atmosphere. Thanks for a great evening x
Cheikhos Restaurant – LutterworthPopped in once for a recommended drink. Ian, the owner specifically introduced himself having heard we’d come on a recommendation and sold the Sunday VIP sharing platter so well, we booked for lunch with friends. We weren’t disappointed. I shouldn’t have had a starter though as the roast was plentiful - anyone saying otherwise is plain greedy. The meat quality was so superb we asked from where he sourced it, and the wine list had previously caught our eye anyway - there’s just no excuse for pubs / restaurants to serve rubbish wine, and Ian serves great wine without ridiculous mark-ups. So you get great service with a smile, great tasting, plentiful food which therefore means the price is good value, and if you like finer wines, you’re not robbed! What’s not to love! And to top it all, there’s great indoor and outdoor spaces with safe layouts! Awesome !
The Lancaster Arms – LeicesterHad a great meal on Tuesday with the family, arrived and shown to our table by Sophie who was Very friendly and made us feel welcome and looked after us, food was 5 star and cooked to everyone’s liking all proper Covid 19 in place and safe would highly recommend, thanks for a lovely evening
