Roberto’s Italian – SouthportExcellent and tasty evening meal yet again at The Sing Faye. Authentic Chinese menu, wide range of food choice with delicious fresh ingredients. A relaxed, ambient setting & with friendly & welcoming staff. Popular with families, special celebration groups or just the perfect special meal treat out, as we enjoyed! Thank You!
Sing Faye Chinese Restaurant – St.HelensMy husband and I had a fantastic meal at Souvla with our friends . Friendly service , good sized portions and good quality food . We will be back.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreAlways a pleasure to visit. As always the staff were friendly and pleasant throughout. Food just perfect for the occasion. Very reasonably priced. A must do before or after a theatre visit (depending on show times)
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreWe came on a Friday having booked cinema tickets for later in the evening. I booked online but at quite short notice, they had no record but had a table available. We then waited around 15 minutes for someone to take our drinks order. We then waited a similar amount of time for someone to take our food order and only after we called a waiter over and pointed out that 2 tables who arrived after us had ordered, they took pur food order. The start of bread and oil took a considerable amount of time to come, especially considering the minimal amount of preparation required and then we waited for out main courses. As time was tocking on and we had cinema tickets, we chased up our order as we had been in the restaurant for an hour at this point and we were concerned whether we may need to leave to make our movie. The male waiter chased the order but didn't give us an expected time. We chased again with a female waiter who was able to confirm that our main courses would be 5 more minutes and was this OK? We confirmed it was and finally received our main courses. I has calzone which was hot and tasty, my husband had spaghetti carbonara which he enjoyed. We then had to ask for the bill and leave. Overall the food was lovely when it came, the price was very reasonable but the service left a lot to be desired. Considering how close to the cinema they are, you would think they would be more considerate of their patrons having onward, timed plans.
Roberto’s Italian – SouthportExcellent food and service Enjoyed a family birthday
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonWe had a fantastic meal very authentic Mexican lovely staff we will definitely return ....really lovely time
The Wargrave Hacienda – St. HelensA lovely little restaurant with delicious food. We went for a birthday celebration and were treated to a cake and sparkler at the end of our meal. Our food came quickly after we'd ordered it, and it was worth the wait! Just a couple of negatives: We arrived and were left standing for a full 5 minutes before we were acknowledged, and seated, and then waited over 20 minutes before we were able to order drinks and food. It wasn't busy, (only 2 other tables). There was only 1 waiter for the first hour, but then another arrived, so things improved, but we were leaving by then... Disappointing because we'd heard good reviews about the place. Not sure if we will return.
Tik Taco – SouthportExcellent food and service. Helped make a birthday celebration special
Sing Faye Chinese Restaurant – St.HelensExcellent, friendly, cheerful service. The food was tasty. The ambience brilliant.
Roberto’s Italian – SouthportAlways lovely food in this pub and friendly staff, great atmosphere too.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreWe visited Ma Egertons before going to see Tony Blackburn at the Empire. The place was buzzing with theatre goers and there was a good atmosphere . Although really busy we quickly got our meal, I had the scouse and hubby had pizza. I have to say the scouse was one of the best I’ve tasted and the pizza was also very good. Will not hesitate to visit again when in Liverpool and would definitely recommend.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreLovely food and staff also great value. Was my second visit went back because first visit was fantastic. Such a warm inviting place waitress is really nice - nice welcome complementary sweet snack at the end of meal
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreWent to Christakis on Aigburth Road last night for my Son's 18th birthday. Superb meat meze, great service as always.
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthIt was our first time here but would highly recommend! The food was delicious. The beef birria tacos are a must! Staff were friendly. The only minor criticism I have is that bar staff were also waiting on and there were a few confusions with tables and orders, but I’m sure these are just teething problems. Would definitely come again! If you like Mexican food I would highly recommend the wargrave hacienda!
The Wargrave Hacienda – St. HelensI don’t usually leave negative reviews, but our experience at Souvla was honestly one of the worst we’ve had in a long time. First impressions weren’t great – my wine glass arrived with lipstick stains on it. We ordered a bottle of rosé, but what was brought to the table tasted off and definitely wasn’t what we had asked for. When we raised this with the waitress, instead of offering to change it, she snapped that “now you’ve opened it you have to commit,” despite the fact that she never even let us taste it before opening. The attitude was incredibly rude and unprofessional. We were shocked to see the was Jack Rabbit brand at £20 a bottle, this retails at £5. The food didn’t redeem the experience either. The halloumi was cold and bizarrely served with tomato sauce instead of sweet chilli as it said on the menu, when we raised this mistake with the waitress she laughed and said “they just see a red bottle” no offer to replace it. The chips were barely cooked and rock hard, the rice was underdone, and while the chicken had some nice flavour, it was dry as a bone. To top it off, our plates were cleared without anyone asking if we were finished – a small detail, but it summed up the lack of care in both food and service. For the prices charged, I’d expect far better. Sadly, we left disappointed, still hungry, and certain we won’t be returning. The only reason we have given this 1 out of 5 was due to the young man who tried to make up for his colleagues rudeness by giving us a free brownie to share at the end of the meal. The female waitress also reminded us of the closing time as it was clear she wanted to go home. Her attitude was terrible!
Souvla Allerton – Mossley HillHave wanted to come to one of christakis party nights for a long time but havent due to the long drive. Decided to book for my friends birthday. Wrote on the booking for party night. When we arrived we were sat outside of the party area and told this wS because there was only 2 of us. We were completely excluded from the party didnt see any dancing and were just sat outside the party room in the dark while loud music was playing but was unable to see anything. The food was nice, limited options for deserts and coffee machine had no milk so unable to order a coffee
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthFriday night is fish night, and what a delight. The food, service and ambience was impeccable and the staff, so friendly and helpful. A real treat for the taste buds. Check it out! Thoroughly enjoyed Thank you
