Christakis Aigburth – AigburthVisited with friends for a Sunday roast. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the food and drinks were beautiful, nice atmosphere. The chicken wings to start were a good portion size and tasty. Couldn’t help ourselves with a dessert and time flew by then we had been there for 4 hours!! Will be coming back there
Clockworks – Liverpool City CentreFinally got a table, so popular you have to be quick to get in if not booked days in advance. That says something about how popular it is here. Busy as always, frenetic activity from staff but so very polite and friendly. Food was excellent, and if you are not sure what you would like to choose, simply ask for advice. Never been let down here with the choices. Well worth a revisit.
Goya Bistro – St. HelensExcellenttexperience - delicious food , with friendly and efficient service
Dolce Vita – SouthportGreat food, service & atmosphere
Christakis Aigburth – AigburthBooked a table for 3 asking for dining area and on arrival staff had left reserved sign on table - as always seems to be busy so it helps to book. Ordered 3 pizzas on special pie/pint deal and were delivered in about 10-15 minutes - excellent service and lovely dough. After seeing Bat out of Hell at the Empire, we returned and there was a Ukulele group so we all joined in with the songs - great Liverpool atmsophere - highly recommended!!
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreExcellent service, hospitality and food. A great atmosphere, great value - thoroughly recommend.
Dolce Vita – SouthportVisited 7th Oct 22. Great service, great food , fabulous service and authentic mexican meal with added extras nibbles. Just sorry we didnt try it sooner. Well worth a visit. We will return. Great value for money.
The Wargrave Hacienda – St. HelensFantastic food and great value. Love visiting Christakis it never disappoints. Love the food and can’t get over the great value for money. Tried feta filled spring rolls drizzled with honey they were fantastic. Afelia pork is to die for and homous and taramasalata out of this world. Thanks for another great meal.
Opa Opa – Liverpool City CentreAmazing place, the staff are very very attentive and a credit to the establishment. Food was great, proper handmade taste and looks. The cocktail menu is very impressive as the wife had about 5 during our stay. The beer is kept very well, please try blue moon if you’ve never heard of it as it’s a sublime pint. Lastly, the prices are more akin to Wetherspoons, they’re amazingly reasonable for a city centre pub but with the proper local friendly feel.
Dough Bar – Liverpool City CentreGorgeous food, friendly and efficient service. Out with friends who had never been before - we will definitely be back!
Dolce Vita – SouthportWent for second time on Saturday excellent location for pre theatre drinks and food. Pizza is fab and the sharing platter, salad (chicken) and bruschetta. Friendly staff lovely cosy traditional pub. Will definitely go again .

Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreDelicious food on the set menu and excellent service
Dolce Vita – SouthportWe had an excellent lunch and very reasonably priced. The staff were delightful. The whole experience was faultless. Thank you
Dolce Vita – SouthportWe’ve visited on several occasions and generally the experience has been good. On our last visit we were slightly underwhelmed . The menu on the website differed to the menu offered. A few of the dishes ordered didn’t live up to the description . The portion sizes didn’t warrant the price . The service was functional, we had to ask for our candle to be lit , cutlery , crockery , wine cooler etc . There is now a service charge automatically included ,wasn’t mentioned on the menu or by the staff. We always tip for good service however we didn’t feel the service warranted it .Cocktails were good though however not sure we would return for food .
Harringtons Bar & Eatery – PrescotExcellent food and service considering it was very busy. Great value for money. Definitely going again.
