My wife and I had a lovely evening. The staff were friendly, professional and informative about the food. They were polite and attentive throughout. Highly recommended. The food was fresh and plentiful.

Went last Thursday for our wedding anniversary . The restaurant has a great atmosphere and intimacy, and the staff were knowledgeable about the menu and explained each of the courses on the taster menu with enthusiasm. The Wyre Valley Asparagus , The Loch Fyne scallop and Cumbrian Lamb Rack were particular highlights. We chose a bottle of wine to accompany the food but there is a wine pairing available too. Well done to all involved

Had the afternoon. It exceeded our expectations. The savory selection, scones and deserts were incredible. Couldn't fault it and will definitely return in the future.

Sunday lunch has been booked in advance ages ago so I was really looking forward to the meal - and wow it was well worth the wait the place is small but has a lovely vibe to it I’ll definitely be going back

Food and service was amazing Only down side was the tables are to close together I felt like the people sitting next to me were in my personal space

Fab! We went for lunch before the theatre. The lad behind the bar was so friendly and attentive. My mum lost her pandora bracelet and he looked around with her and found it. Definitely will return!

Really impressed with the interior decor. Food was lovely. Service was quick Would go again definitely The garlic bread with cheese starter was like a mini pizzette and to die for. The mushroom bruschetta was the same. Recommended

Food was excellent everything was all hot. The staff are really friendly, could not fault anything 10/10. Will be returning soon.

Gorgeous roast dinner on Sunday here , really enjoyed it will be back

We went for Sunday lunch and the service and atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were knowledgable, helpful and attentive. The challenge was the consistency of the food, we all had roast beef, it was a bit like the 3 Bears, one was well done, the other was moo'ing and the otherwise just right - they only had one bottle of Malbec and had run out of two lagers. It's definitely worth another try, so we are going to book the Spring Taster Menu

Great venue, great atmosphere, great service, great brunch, great people.... Anytime I'm in Liverpool I'll be there for breakfast, I just wish I had somewhere half as good where I live.....
