Othello's is a fine restaurant. My brothers and I are geographically separated (Newcastle, Cardiff and Liverpool) and this is our venue of choice when we convene in our hometown. We have no hesitation in recommending it to you. The food is of a consistently high quality (both meat and vegetarian) - we have never left the premises disappointed. Salads are crisp, clean and fresh and main courses are tasty and filling. The service is attentive, helpful and considerate. We have enjoyed family occasions here and will be back again when future visits to Liverpool coincide.

Service was very good no long waiting from one course to the next. My colleagues had the sea bass and assured me it was divine. I had the steak which was cooked medium to perfection starters were nice and very tasty. I would highly recommend this venue plus the puddings were Delicious. Plus we had our table for over two hours with no pressure to hurry up. Well worth going to

Visited Matou on Weds 16/5/13. What a fabulous venue - stunningly beautiful views of the River Mersey, early sunshine glinting of the water, then the lights from the Wirral reflecting in the dark. Food was the best I have had for a very long time (absolutely delicious); staff were wonderful, happy and friendly. Please do not hesitate to visit - I will certainly be going back again and again. Have not been here for a while so popped in for tea, had same as last time, Clam Chowder and Steak Rossini,both really nice, good ambiance and friendly servers, Really good food,

Just wanted to thank you for the perfect hen party for my friend Emma last night. Everyone loved the food and the music was a perfect mix for all ages. The bride to be laughed and cried (happy tears of course) and everyone is full of compliments for your venue. Thanks again

This little gem of a restaurant cannot be recommended highly enough! Recently changed owners but the quality of both food and service was superb. Fresh Scottish langoustines, beef medallions, even the ubiquitous sticky toffee pudding - all to die for! Chef Arran, was informative, enthusiastic, passionate about his food and it showed in both flavour and presentation. We left wanting to tell everyone how great it is!

Best pizza in Liverpool by miles. Proper Italian pizzas, thin crisp crusts and perfect amount of cheese. The Calabria is my fav with the egg in the middle. Amazing! Do yourself a favour and try somthing from there.

This is my favourite place to eat. It is truly the best place by far. The food is delicious, every thing is made with love and passion for food. The staff go out of their way to make sure you want for nothing. And are always very pheasent. I think dolce vita has been there for over 25 years and has always been run, managed and owned by mario and his family! They have also opened a bar just up the road called bar mio. A truly unforgettable night.

Outstanding food, great price and excellent service by our waiter Mike. So relaxed, not rushed at all and food was so much nicer than other Greek restaurants in Liverpool. Will definitely be returning!

I had my 40th Birthday Meal in the Pan Am last Friday the 26th. The food was amazing and the service was first class. There were 16 of us all together who and the staff could not have been more helpful. Most of the party had traveled over from Dublin and were really impressed with the Pan Am.. I would highly recommend the Pan Am and can't wait to go back to Liverpool so I can visit it again..

First time visit last night with 6 friends. Meal was first class. Service was brisk and charming. Wine was excellent. Downside were all because I'm an old fart. Lighting a bit too dim to read the menu and the music really was too loud to support a meal but overall the place is really great. I'll definately be returning. (With my glasses and a discreet torch) 10/.10

Good value and food. I have never been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and accommodating even with a large family get-together, their standards didn't drop.
