Greek Taverna – Waterloorubbish restaurant, rubbish management.
The Greek Taverna – BootleDefinitely amongst the best Chinese food in the city, and the ambience and staff make this one of the best venues around. It's just been refurbed but the old principles that have been evident since I first went still apply - top service from really friendly and helpful staff who go the extra mile to make sure you feel really welcome.
Ying Wah Restaurant – WooltonUnlike the abundance of previous bloggers enthusing avidly about the Bistro Pierre experience I am not compelled to wax lyrical about the place. Imbued with quasi-french ambience it may be but sadly the fare was not so appealing. My partner and I were dished up an awfully salty peppercorn sauce over poor quality chicken ; dry and stringy.Undercooked carrots julienne and limp red cabbage. Told the waiter the whole truth, (not his fault but he did ask.) With two half lagers we coughed up £19.50..wont be returning anytime soon.
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreCame here again tonight, still splendid .. had the lamb naga, wow hot and cracking flavours with peshwarai bread, an absolute pleasure to eat here, well done all,
Shantii – FormbyGreat Restaurant to stop at whilst out shopping. Cheap and Cheerful, most main courses are under £10, huge portions, just the trick after being on your feet all day! We had BBQ ribs, delicious, meat fell off the bone, 2 mains of belly pork with fried rice and Pad Thai noodles with chicken, again delicious and good value for price and portion size. Good selection of drinks on offer, very handy for the Cinema. Very quick service, friendly staff. There was a 15 min wait for a table but this is the case anywhere in L1 around 6pm
Yee Rah Bar & Grill – Liverpool City Centredined here on Saturday evening, booked table for 9.30pm we arrived on time and the place was bursting at the seams, did not get seated until 10pm we sat patiently waiting for a menu and after 20 minutes finally got someones attention. Starters did not arrive at our table until 10.45, main course 11.20, whilst food was lovely we had pretty much lost our appetite by then, needless to say would not return anytime soon.
San Carlo – Liverpool City CentreBest meal we've had for a long time, Early Doors all night Mon - Thursday, stupendous value. Decor, ambience and service excellent. I wouldn't bother with Town anymore, if you fancy a drink there is always Allerton Road. Looking forward already to our next visit,
Owens – ChildwallRecently came in for a meal with friends was very satisfied with our meals. The food was very enjoyable, but as for the surroundings and the decor it wasn't really much to be desired an thinks this is lowering the standard of the restaurant. Also we felt a little rushed by the waiting staff other than that it was an enjoyable meal.
Casa Italia – Liverpool City Centrebeen to the casa italia many times, and can't wait to go again (this saturday 24th july as it happens) the food is amazing, place is immaculate, staff are so helpful and polite, service is superb and the prices are better than reasonable. 5 outta 5
Casa Italia – Liverpool City Centrewe travelled up from Devon for our daughters graduation from john moors, what a fantastic afternoon we all had. The food was fabulous and as there was a group off us we nibbled off each others plate,i don't know how they do it for the price. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was so friendly, i would recommend this restaurant to any one definitely 10/10
Bistro Franc – Liverpool City CentreI have had nothing but positive experiences when visiting the All New Ho Lee Chow. In fact, each experience just gets better and better. Friendly service, tailored to the needs of the clients, reasonable prices, tasty food and a business that remembers the customers. I have recently found that I have a wheat allergy - something that makes dining out a nightmare. However, there is no cause for concern when dining here. Not only will they make sure your dishes are wheat / gluten free, they have changed their recipes for items, for example tasty Prawn Crackers ( which, I swear, are better than the wheat versions ) and will happily make adjustments to the banquet menus, where possible, including the Early Bird menu. For example, when I last visited the restaurant, the group I was with decided to go for the Early Bird menu. I thought I would have to miss out on the platter course because of the contents. However, adjustments were made so that I could have just as many dishes as my companions ( ribs, chicken wings, pickled vegetables, prawn ball ). Their reason for changing the menu - "You don't want a change because you don't like something - it's because you physically can't have something". What a wonderful experience. Thank you Christine and the rest of the staff. I look forward to my next visit - which will be soon so get the wheat free soy sauce ready!
Ho Lee Chow – SouthportWe visited Allerton Hall today to see if we would use it for our Wedding Celebration. We were impressed with the staff and Sarah the manager, very helpful. We tried the food, and the portions and quality were exceptional. at 2 for £10. The grounds are beautiful and we will be booking it for our Wedding Evening Celebration.
Allerton Hall – WooltonMy family and I went to this fabulous restaurant last week to celebrate my niece's graduation. The food was delicious and the restaurant was relaxing and comfy. Our waiter Simon, was very helpful and made us feel welcome. I would definitely recommend Il Forno to anyone. Can't wait to go back, thanks for an unforgettable evening.
Il Forno – Liverpool City Centrewould never recommend this place at all. Not expensive, but the food was greasy and the place quite shady in my opinion.
Mr Chans – St.HelensWe have visited the restaurant on many occasions and although we have to travel from Widnes it is by far the best for service, food and surroundings. Additionally the menu id varied and is reasonable. We can highly recommend the Crown.
Crown of India – PrescotThere are many Greek restaurants in Liverpool, but this has been consistently one of the best. Unlike the others the chef never changes, The present chef, Gerry, has learned his skill well and as he is the owner he will not be moving on. Don't be afraid to ask for the grilled meats to be cooked just as you like them.
Othellos – WooltonEnjoyed a very delicious lunch at Sheldrakes on a gorgeous sunny day- which heightened the sense that we were in fact in the Med!The outside seating and views make you feel like you're on holiday- bliss. The food, staff and drinks were all wonderful and to a very high standard. Will definitely be returning very soon.
