You cannot go wrong with a meal at the Bottle and Glass. Yes, it is nearly always busy but if you go at off peak times i.e. in the middle of the afternoon or early evening, you should always be able to get a table and your wait for food won't be very long. I have been here on a number of occasions and have sampled quite a few dishes from the menu and specials board. The food is always delicious and is greatly complimented by their extensive wine list. Their Pinot Grigio is gorgeous or if you are a red wine lover, I am told that their Shiraz is lovely as well. The ambience is also something that will pull you back time and time again. It is so relaxed. The tables are lit by candlelight at night as well, which sets a romantic setting. It is also a great place to go for a group of you, although it is a problem not being able to book for over 6 people. But a group of 12 of us went one Saturday afternoon and had no problem getting a table. This has everything a pub needs - relaxing, great atmosphere, gorgeous food and drink. You couldn't ask for more!
