Tuesday night was very quiet- just our table of 4 and one other couple, which made for a subdued atmosphere. Nevertheless the setting is classy with interesting art on the walls. Very attentive service and all those little touches you expect from a wannabe Michelin starred restaurant- the pre-starter and pre-dessert were delicious. And of course they help with the value for money rating but there's no getting away from the fact that this is an expensive restaurant and after 3 courses plus the little extras I didn't actually leave feeling full. The food was excellent- well prepared and perfectly cooked and served and the waiter was knowledgeable and more than happy to provide extra info to help the decision making. None of us were vegetarian- fortunately as there was only one choice of starter and main course available. Not a place to go if you just fancy a night off cooking, but to celebrate a special event it could definitely make an occasion more memorable. I'll certainly be trying it on a weekend to see if there's more of a buzz (a very refined buzz obviously)!

I chose to visit this restaurant on Saturday at lunch time It is the only Indian I know of open at this time. I ate a selection of poppadoms and delicious unusual pickles followed by an equally good dosa then the set lunch - a small portion of chicken, fish and vegetable curries with lentils and spinach, rice and bread. The food was excellent. It was fresh and flavoursome. This restaurant is far removed the standard curry house and is well worth a visit. I will return.

Went after recommendation on a thursday night, had to wait for a table due to popularity , lived upto all expectations, very classy , service outstanding, food superb , cost about £30 per head, such a good choice you have to go back, could not fault anything,

Grew up with Keiths it hasn't changed its character,still safe. Lamb Chops are to die for! It makes my mouth water just thinking about them! The Sunday Roast is defo the best hangover cure!

Fatty Arbuckle? had good and quick service the food is lovely and the staff are very helpful and kind.

They have a buy one get one free on a monday,and the portions do NOT decrease like in most pubs. The food is good prices are fair and the ambience is a nice friendly welcoming pub. Its worth a trip i go at least once a week now after stumbling on it by accident.

This is the best place to eat in waterloo. Its got a great atmosphere the food id very good and the service is excellent. I try to eat here when i can and always would recommend it whole heartedly.

My daughter travelled from Manchester & fancied an Indian meal. She is a regular in Rusholme on the "Curry Mile" but she stated that the food at The Magic Spices was far better than that she had experienced there. Well done, as she will visit each time she is in the area and would recommend it to anyone.

This restaurant is on two floors. We were there on a Monday Evening, the place was very busy. Starters range from £4.50 for the soup to £8.95 for the "coquilles St. Jacques." The crab salad at £5.95 was very nice. Main courses start at £9.95 for fritter of asparagus to £15.95 for the Filet De boeuf, grilled fillet steak casserole of ox tongue & shallots. The breast of duck creamed potatoes, with a "Gastrique of blueberries at £13.95 was great also the porcini dusted rack of lamb at £12.95 was like wise. There is a Table D Hote menu served Sun/Fri 5.30/1030pm Sat. 5pm to 6.45pm for £12.95 per person. A Good selection of wine house at £10.odd a bottle was very drinkable. For beer drinkers "Leffe" Brune or blonde in bottles Stella. All in all a very nice establishment. Service very good.

The food is authentically Turkish, not Greek at all, although the two cuisines have a few similar dishes. The banquets are good value, though the restaurant has taken to serving starter portions on individual dishes rather than in the middle of the table to be shared. The early evening deal (Sunday to Friday) is well worth keeping in mind, but the various Turkish dishes on the main menu are recommended too.

Being a lover of Mexican food I decided to try Fuegos for my husbands birthday in March' 05. It is set down a very narrow dark street which doesn't give any encouragement. But once through the door we were very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere of the place is very authentic, the staff are exceptionally friendly and the food is beautiful. Overall we were very pleased and are planning our return this week.

Very nice place for that special occasion. Will definitely visit again...

Great Service by the staff. Good fish and chips although a little costly, but I loved the desserts! I'd definitely go again!

My boyfriend took me here for valentines day. The food was amazing and they decorated the tables with feathers & rose petals. what else can i say it was pure heaven!

Birthday party of 8, quite few other parties on the night also. Food was well presented and a very good selection for all courses. Stage acts were very well received although early in the night people were more intent on the meal than the cabaret. Thoroughly enjoyed by all the party, would highly recommend a visit.
