Excellent as always. Friendly and helpful staff together with wonderful tasty food - the creamy garlic mushrooms were a level above- made our outing with my mum a very memorable lunchtime treat. Thank you

The Chequers Inn – LymingtonExcellent meal on a Thursday evening in a pretty busy restaurant and great breakfast the next morning. The staff were extremely good on both occasions. I would recommend. This is the second time we have visited and stayed over and the previous time was good too. The bar in the pub had a very busy and cheerful / noisy atmosphere early evening which we enjoyed.
East End Arms – LymingtonAlways a friendly welcome and helpful staff with excellent food and service
The Chequers Inn – Lymingtonfabulous food - the burgers were delicious. staff super lovely and polite and a great atmosphere. The fact that is was full on a Tuesday night says it all. Book ahead and enjoy.
East End Arms – LymingtonWarm friendly and attentive service and good food and beer.
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonWe are new to the area and delighted to find a great Pub within walking distance from our home!! We were made to feel very welcome by DC and was very impressed with what you have to offer re entertainment etc., Food excellent . So our local that’s for sure. Thank you
The Townhouse – LymingtonAlways love coming here. Venue is fab and the sun was shining. Sadly for us this time for a family Birthday the service was a little poor due to few staff and had to ask for coffee. The lady who served us was rushed off her feet. We weren’t even offered dessert. A little soulless this time with awkward silences in the restaurant and needed some background music. A shame when showcasing it to visitors. Food was good for some and not much flavour or gritty for others.
East End Arms – LymingtonWe booked an early table for Saturday evening with good friends who were visiting us. We love the East End Arms and have had some great evenings and Sunday lunches in the courtyard. We waited over an hour for our food with no updates from the staff. The food was mainly good, but two mains were cold. Once we finished we waited another 20 minutes before someone came to speak with us. Sadly by then we had all decided we were ready to go home, so left. We really hope the team can address the service and client interaction as it's such a great place.
East End Arms – LymingtonWe have stayed and eaten at the East End Arms on about 6 or more occasions and have always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and good pub food and wine at reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend both staying and eating there. My only complaint is it can become pretty noisy if the restaurant is full and you are unlucky enough to be close the loud table.
East End Arms – LymingtonVery nice pub and meal. Good atmosphere and pleasant staff too.
East End Arms – LymingtonHad a lunch yesterday which was really not of a good standard, the burger was sent back as overcooked and tough and fish and chips was at best average with more batter than fish and peas like bullets. Had a drink in bar first which needs a good clean and it was tatty rather than cosy. The young male member of staff was very pleasant but the blonde female was very indifferent and unwelcoming. Sure this pub has a loyal clientele but very glad it’s not our local .
East End Arms – LymingtonHad Sunday lunch at East End Arms and it was delicious, the service was great and we will definitely be returning
East End Arms – LymingtonDuring a great stay with local friends we went to the East End Arms twice for Sunday lunch. Small menu but it works so well. Beautifully cooked and great portions. Thank you we had a great time on both visits. I’m sure we’ll be back.
East End Arms – LymingtonAnother lovely meal at the East End Arms last Saturday. Beautiful tasty food and friendly service and very reasonable for the quality. It's our go to pub when we take friends out because we can count on it being brilliant!
East End Arms – LymingtonWonderful restaurant where we enjoyed two consecutive dinners. Food of the highest quality, service excellent, prices very fair and a nice ambience. Highly recommend, thank you.
East End Arms – LymingtonMy husband and I had dinner on Saturday evening (28 February 2026) and booked a table for 6.30 pm. We chose to eat early as the restaurant is much quieter at that time. Our previous experience of eating later was that the restaurant was very noisy, so much so that we chose to eat in the bar area of the pub. We had an enjoyable evening in the restaurant this time. I had a delicious sweet potato risotto with baby spinach and my husband had one of the specials - beef stroganoff, which he said was excellent. We both had a selection of ice cream to finish. I had a small glass of Rose , as I was driving, and my husband had a pint of Guinness. The restaurant automatically adds a 10% service charge to your bill. Our total came to just under £60.00 which I thought was pricey for what we had. The staff were attentive, but it wasn’t service with a smile. I felt we were being judged for ordering a jug of tap water for the table and only one alcoholic drink each. Although, we weren’t even asked if we would like another drink, not even coffee. As others have said, the menu is very limited if you are a vegetarian. It may be worth phoning ahead to let them know, so that they may be able to provide some alternative options.
