Fantastic place to have a meal! Portion sizes are great. Staff are amazing! The atmosphere is great! Love the service, not having to ask for water replacement. New cutlery after starters. Very attentive to tables. Then the food is just outstanding so tasty! It’s the best place we’ve been! Will forever return.

Great food - atmosphere & service. There's just nothing to not like about The Rising Moon - although I wish you could tip using your card. I rarely carry cash & had to leave without tipping yesterday which made me feel awful because the service was very good.

Went here with a party of 8 for my daughters 18th and could not have asked for a better place! Atmosphere was great, staff were more than helpful! Food/drinks were amazing! Would give this place a 10/10. Will be visiting again very soon!

We’ve been eating at L’Aquila for a while now, it’s round the corner from us & we must have booked at least 30 times. I can’t fault this restaurant, everything down to the wine glasses is perfect. The attention to detail is flawless, something you’d expect to have to venture into town for. The staff here are wonderful, whomever chose or trained them certainly knows their stuff. My favourite choices would be the tomato garlic bread starter followed by either the Pollo al pepe corn fed chicken breast cooked in black cracked pepper, cream & brandy sauce or Filletto al pepe prime fillet steak cooked in cracked black pepper, cream and brandy sauce. Highly recommended:)

I booked a table for 10 of us for my daughters 12 year cancer free celebration. From the moment we got into the restaurant we felt welcome and my daughter made a fuss of. Mario and his team couldnt do enough for us to make the occasion special. Mario even brought her cake out and had the whole place clapping for her. This was my first visit, I was very happy with my meal, steaks were cooked exactly as requested, surroundings were relaxed and comfortable, however the service has to get the most recognition, incredibly attentive without being intrusive, from the greeter to our server who genuinely wanted us to be happy with everything, repeating back any special requests to make sure she'd got it right and so friendly, cannot praise enough, would definitely recommend, will be returning

This place really is quaint . I really have fallen in love with restaurants relaxed atmosphere. The owners are great they really care about your experience each visit . All staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble . The food , well the biggest compliments to the chef because this is high standard grub ! Menu offers something for everyone with a special board for seasonal offerings which I find fabulous! I have to say I struggled to pick my meal because it all sounded so good , so I will be back very soon to try something new ! But finally , my favourite thing about this place is the cocktails ! If you like a good quality cocktail this is the place for you . Every drink poured is made to perfection . These cocktails are the best in Greater Manchester !
